Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Will Have a New Game Plus Mode

New Game+ modes aren't all that original to games, but it looks like Shadow of the Tomb Raider is going to put a unique spin on things when it's released.

When you complete the game once, it will allow you to carry over a bunch of skills and gear, but it will also allow Lara to venture down completely new skill paths that were not available in the first go around.

The Quiet Man's Latest Trailer is Action Packed

Throughout the history of mankind, "speak softly and carry a big stick" has never been more appropriately used than right now. I have fact checked this, so don't call me out on it. You're wrong.

Square Enix must think so as well because their latest trailer for The Quiet Man shows off just a bit of the action you'll get to experience when this blend of live-action and not-live-action launches on Steam and the PlayStation 4 for $14.99 (USD). A firm release date has not yet been revealed.

  • New Battlefield 5 Trailer Features Fighting in Europe, a Song About a Brothel, and Battle Royale

The latest Battlefield V trailer features footage of intense fighting on the Western Front of WWII, while a cover of House of the Rising Sun plays. That is certainly an interesting choice for a song. I'll give them that at least.

Hey, whatever. It's a new trailer for Battlefield V and it's precisely the sort of thing that was needed. This trailer is for Gamescom 2018, which is being held next week. The footage below includes a look at look at some previously unannounced maps, such as the "streets of Rotterdam" and the "burning sands of North Af...

  • The MP5 Finally Returns to Counter-Strike

The MP5 Finally Returns to Counter-Strike

Long ago, in a Counter-Strike far, far away there existed the MP5. Once Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was released, the weapon was struck down by the MP7. Fear spread far and wide that we would never again see the return of the little SMG that could.

Worry not dear players, for the MP5 is indeed back in Counter-Strike and maybe better than ever? I don't really know, I haven't tried it out yet and even if I did, I haven't played Counter-Strike in years so it might actually be garbage but who the hell cares it's back, baby! Yeah!
