Wait until you see the price of the 1TB model.

Valve just opened sign-ups for their new virtual reality headset, Steam Frame. It officially "launches" today, starting at an eye-watering price of $1,059 for the 256GB model. The 1TB Steam Frame bumps that price up to $1,299.

A purchase of the Steam Frame, either model, includes the wireless VR headset, Steam Frame controllers, and a copy of Half-Life: Alyx.

Forefront is a brand-new large-scale VR shooter that supports up to 32-player battles. Today, the 1.0 release of Forefront arrives on SteamVR, Meta Quest, and Pico for $27.99. A PlayStation VR2 release is planned for later this year.

I've seen Forefront described as a Battlefield VR clone, though I don't know how accurate that actually is. The game does feature 16v16 battles in levels that are semi-destructible....

The latest update for Rebellion's Zombie Army VR adds in a new Horde Mode. The update technically came out on September 2nd, but I didn't actually check the email account it was sent to until today. Whoopsy doodle!

Devolver Digital passes along word that GORN 2 is now available for PlayStation VR 2 owners. This sequel to the skull-crushing original that pitted you against big, burly fighters will once again pit you against big, burly fighters with skulls that are just as crushable.

Saber Interactive released new gameplay footage for World War Z VR today. This new "Swarm" gameplay offers you a little look at the "overwhelming hordes of zombies you'll face down."

World War Z VR, unlike the non-VR version of the game, is a single-player title. It's still based off of the Paramount Pictures film of the same name, which itself is based off of the Max Brooks' book.

The Thief franchise is back courtesy of Vertigo Games, Eidos-Montreal, and Maz Theory. Vertigo Games, the studio behind virtual reality titles such as Arizona Sunshine 2 and Metro Awakening, will bring Thief back as a fully immersive virtual reality title. Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow is in development for PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2/3/3S, and PC VR.

Saber Interactive announced World War Z VR today for both Meta Quest and SteamVR devices. World War Z is a new, first-person game based on the World War Z IP. Sadly, while the other World War Z games were focused on co-op, this one is a strictly single player title.

New DLC is out today for the virtual reality experience called TimeLab. Starting today, you can go aboard LZ 129, the zeppelin that is better known as the Hindenburg. You will get to explore the ship's interior in full VR, take a gander at New York City's skyline circa 1936, and then watch the full disaster up close.

Sony announces that a permanent price reduction is coming this March for PlayStation VR2. This includes the base model and the bundle deal that includes Horizon Call of the Mountain.

PlayStation VR2's price will go from a suggested retail price of $549 to $399.99. This is the model that includes the PlayStation VR2 headset, Sense controllers, and stereo earbuds.

During the Civ World Summit event an announcement was made for something else related to Civilization 7. PlaySide Studios and 2K announced Sid Meier's Civilization 7 - VR for the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. According to the announcement, Civilization 7 - VR is only for the Quest 3 and Quest 3S. This means it won't be available for any other Quest device prior to the 3 and won't be available for PC VR devices.

Blue Brain Games just released The House of Da Vinci VR for Meta Quest and Steam VR devices. This is a VR adaptation of the studio's puzzle series of the same name.
