The pair are also seeking an injunction against the upcoming Halo TV series.
A new report by Eurogamer says that the original Halo music composers, Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori, are suing Microsoft over unpaid royalties. Some of these royalties seem to date back roughly 20 years according to the lawsuit.
Lawyers for O'Donnell and Salvatori filed this lawsuit back in June 2020 with a Washington state court. Next week, mediation is scheduled to begin but if no agreement... -

The former Bungie composer now owes the studio tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
Former Bungie composer Mary O'Donnell has been found in contempt of court after it was found that he was using Destiny music assets. This use of assets from Destiny broke the terms of a 2015 lawsuit between himself and Bungie. As a result of this ruling, O'Donnell now has to pay tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees to Bungie.
According to Eurogamer, O'Donnell had uploaded videos... -

in NewsDestiny 2 is Activision's Largest PC Launch Ever
Activision low-key revealed that Destiny 2 is officially the "largest PC launch in Activision history based on units." They also said that it was the second highest grossing console game of 2017 in North America behind, you guessed it, Call of Duty: WWII.
This is all according to Activision-Blizzard's proxy statement (PDF) with a nod to PCGamesN for bringing it to everyone's attention. Some other bits of information pulled from the document show that Activision-Blizzard had a recor... -

in NewsBungie Promises More Open Dialogue with Community; Details Changes to Destiny 2 Including Masterwork Weapons, Stat Re-rolling, and More
Just as they promised, Bungie indeed laid out a rather extensive list of changes coming to Destiny 2 as a result of the growing anger from the fan base. Today's just released blog entry talks about updates coming throughout December, January, and into early 2018. You're looking at Masterwork weapons that can add stat tracking, provide random but re-rollable stat bonuses, and more. Like the first game, we're left wanting more.
When Destiny first launched in late 2014, it was something special, almost magical. Bungie and Activision created a new franchise that let players explore parts of our Solar System from their couches, forge new friendships, take down massive enemies, and feel akin to comic book superheroes.
