The plan is to bring over features like EA Access in addition to bringing over individual games like Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Electronic Arts made the full announcement just a short time ago. They say that starting in Spring, EA Access will be made available through Steam. EA Access is their subscription service that allows you to...

EA Cancels Yet Another Star Wars Game (Update)

A headline like "EA Cancels Another Star Wars Game" feels like they're a dime a dozen these days. I think EA may have cancelled as many Star Wars games as they have closed studios at this point. Here we are again and here EA is with another cancelled EA game on their hands. This time, the development studio has decided to cancel its open-world Star Wars game that EA Vancouver had been working on. Prior to EA Vancouver working on this title, it was in development from Visceral Games. Of course, EA shut down Visceral Games back in 2017. In fact, when Visceral wa...

Jade Raymond Leaving EA After Just 3 Years

Jade Raymond is parting ways with EA and the EA Motive studio that she helped to found. Taking up the reigns as studio lead will be Samantha Ryan. Ryan already leads EA Mobile, Maxis, and a BioWare studio.

EA Motive was initially founded in 2015 after Raymond left Ubisoft. The first project for the studio was working with Amy Hennig on the now cancelled Star Wars title from the now closed Visceral Games. EA Motive at least got to put some of that work to use in helping out with Star Wars: Battlefront II. The studio then moved on to working on a new...

60 Parsecs Gives You 60 Seconds to to Survive

Robot Gentleman, the development studio behind 60 Seconds! have announced a follow-up game called 60 Parsecs! Much like its predecessor, 60 Parsecs! gives you 60 seconds to gather as much as you can to survive before you're jettisoned into space.

    Seems fair.

Also, it needs to be said that a parsec is a unit of length, not of time. I blame this common misconception on that damned Star Wars all the kids like these days.
Making the jump from claustrophobic atomic bomb shelter to even more claustrophobic space shuttle, 60 Parsecs! follows

EA Shelves Another Star Wars Game Following Amy Hennig's Departure

In October 2017, EA shut down Visceral Games (RIP), which was working on an untitled Star Wars game. Development on the game, codenamed Ragtag, was led by the former Uncharted director Amy Hennig. The higher-ups at EA felt as though the game was too linear and shifted the development over to EA Vancouver following Visceral's premature death. According to a variety of reports, the game's development at EA Vancouver was rocky, at best. Fast-forward to this week when Hennig revealed what happened with the game's development and her current status. In speaking wit...
