  • Google Stadia Pricing Leaks - Offering Subscription and Individual Purchase Options

I need an umbrella for all these leaks!

The Google Stadia Connect that is set to begin roughly right as this post goes live, will share the first details about the pricing structure for the upcoming streaming platform. As it turns out, that information was leaked earlier this morning. The information was reported on by Kotaku but originally shared by Canadian news outlet, La Presse.

Stadia will include both a subscription model and offer up games for sale individually. The Stadia launches this November and includes a base subscription starting at $11.99 (CAD) per month....

Report: Destiny 2 Going Free-to-play and Coming to Steam

This is assuming the rumors are true...

It looks like Destiny 2 will be making some significant changes in the months ahead. According to an early leak, or a rumor, or whatever you want to call it, Destiny 2 is making the move to free-to-play. Engadget apparently put their article up well ahead of schedule this morning that details the coming changes.

The article, since pulled from public sight, was read and given a nice "CliffsNotes version" over on the Destiny subreddit.

In short, Destiny 2 will be going F2P on all platforms. It will be renamed...

  • Call of Duty Shakeup - Call of Duty 2020 is Another Black Ops and Is Modern Warfare 4 Going Free-to-Play?

Reports include talk of arguments between Sledgehammer and Raven.

There are reported some massive changes happening behind the scenes of the Call of Duty franchise. According to a new report from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, Call of Duty 2020 is no longer being developed by Sledgehammer and Raven. It will instead be handled by Treyarch and it will be another entry in the Black Ops saga.

This is the first major change in the development cycle of the Call of Duty franchise since 2012. Since then, the Call of Duty games have cycled between three lead studios. Those studios...

Next Ghost Recon Game Name Possibly Leaked

Read this for spoilers, or just wait until the actual reveal tomorrow.

Ubisoft may have accidentally leaked the name of their next Ghost Recon game ahead of tomorrow's reveal. The name? Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The following image was caught by Reddit user jrmywl30. They say that it appeared first on the Ghost Recon sub-Reddit and was quickly pulled.

The image shows a "Wolves Collector's Edition" for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. It's suggested that the game will be a direct sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands. Does Wildlands need a sequel? Maybe. I'm not entirely sure...

Half-Life 3 Again Teased by Potentially Fake Email from Valve's Gabe Newell

It is *checks non-existent watch* now three months into 2019, which means it's about that time again for another Half-Life 3 rumor. This one comes directly from Valve's Gabe Newell himself!

    Well, maybe.

Honestly, it's probably fake but I know what pulls people in to the site and this is certainly going to do it for a little bit.

All of this begins with the latest video from "Valve News Network (VNN)," a YouTube channel that never, ever, ever (heavily implied sarcasm here) exaggerates or simply pulls things out of their ass. Get them clicks!...

Microsoft Reportedly Releasing an All-Digital Xbox One in May

The "all digital future" may be closer than you think if a new rumor is to be believed. According to Brad Sams from Thurrott.com, Microsoft is getting ready to release an Xbox One S console that doesn't have a disc drive.

Sams says that the internal codename for this device is "Xbox Maverick" with the public facing name being "Xbox One S All-Digital Edition." Pre-orders are apparently slated to go live mid-April with a release possibly coming as early as May.

Beyond being able to purchase games directly through the Microsoft Store...

Rumor Suggests Forza, Halo, or Gears of War is Coming to Nintendo Switch

According to a new report from Jeuxvideo.com, Microsoft may bring one of their high-profile franchises to the Nintendo Switch. The problem is, they don't really state which franchise they may bring over. Right now, they currently suggest that it could be an entry from the Forza franchise, or Halo, or even Gears of War. They also don't know if it would be a port of an older title, a new title, or a port of an Xbox One title.

It is also being suggested that Rare titles could find their way to the Nintendo Switch. Perhaps Rare Replay? So far, this is all just rumor and may not...

Rumor: Casting Underway for Bully 2?

According to a rumor kicked off by Rockstar Intel, casting calls have gone out for Bully 2. We're not talking about just one or two casting calls, Rockstar Intel says that no fewer than seven casting calls for motion capture acting roles have been made.

Specifically, they say that these seven casting calls have been for a "new unannounced video game title with a leading UK games developer, shooting at Pinewood Studios." The casting calls were mainly for teenage and young roles. There was also a warning provided with the casting calls along with some very light details.

Kotaku Rumor Suggests Microsoft is Close to Buying Obsidian

A new rumor popped up about an hour ago courtesy of Kotaku and Jason Schreier that Microsoft is close to purchasing Obsidian. I don't normally post a bunch of rumors on the site unless there is good reason for it and the reason I'm posting this one is because Jason Schreier has a great track record on this sort of stuff. So while it's not confirmed or announced anywhere, there is probably a good chance that the rumor being true of Microsoft being close to buying Obsidian.

Kotaku's sources say that the deal is "90%" finished, while another suggested that the deal was more of a matter of "when" and not "if."

Name Changes Coming Soon to PlayStation Network?

A new report from Kotaku says that Sony is gearing up to finally allow users to change their PlayStation Network names. This has been something that PSN users have requested for ages but it allegedly hasn't been possible.

It's long been rumored that name changes haven't been possible because Sony's database was so jumbled and held together with gum and strings that it made it near impossible to allow for name changes. Well, it seems as though Sony has gotten around to fixing that and perhaps even included some of the needed groundwork in the recent 6.0 firmware update. Now, some developers are saying that name changes are coming ...

  • Rumors: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Details - Set in Ancient Greece, Dialogue Options, and More

The next Assassin's Creed game was apparently leaked via a key chain (seen above). It looks like it will be called Assassin's Creed Odyssey and will take place in ancient Greece. A new report from JeuxVideoLive, and confirmed by Kotaku's own sources, says that Odyssey will serve as a sequel to last year's Assassin's Creed Origins.

According to Kotaku's sources, the game is indeed set in Greece. It will add in dialogue options for the first time in the franchise, making the game a bit more Witcher like than ever before. You will also get to play as either a male or female protagonist. Sadly, these aren't Bayek or...
