Bungie Teases the Return of the Best Hand Cannon in Destiny

Just moments ago, the Destiny Twitter account sent out a new teaser video for tomorrow's big Destiny 2 update. Over the past few weeks, Bungie has been giving little bits of information here and there on what is coming in tomorrow's 2.1.4 update. This includes last week's "This Week at Bungie."

This update doesn't yet have a full changelog available with all of the changes, but some of the highlights include a buff for the Hunter's Golden Gun, buffs to damage on scout rifles, auto rifles, and sniper rifles. This is all very vague and just the tip of the changelog....

Bungie Ditches Activision, Acquires Rights to Destiny

Moving forward, all future Destiny titles will be self-published by Bungie. I guess even Activision had to tap out after the latest Destiny 2 puzzle, eh?

After eight years, Bungie and Activision are parting ways and with it so does Activision's control over the Destiny franchise. Bungie announced today that they are acquiring publishing rights to their popular shooter.

Mere moments ago, Bungie made the announcement on their website in an aptly named news entry called "Our Destiny."

Bungie continues on to say that they will...

  • Bungie Throws in the Towel on Niobe Labs, Will Unlock Bergusia Forge in Destiny 2 Later Today for Everyone

Yesterday, a Destiny 2 update included a new head scratching puzzle. Solving this puzzle would open up the fourth and final Forge in the Black Armory DLC for everyone to hop into and enjoy. The problem is, Bungie maybe made the puzzles a bit too difficult as they have not yet been solved and the forge has not yet been unlocked.

The puzzle centers around a new area called Niobe Labs. In this new area, players unlock various levels and encounters by solving puzzles. These puzzles largely center around shooting hidden symbols using special weapons in a correct order. The symbols...

  • Destiny 2 "Solstice of Heroes" Event Announced; Moments of Triumph Event Begins

Just a couple of hours ago, Bungie announced the Solstice of Heroes event coming very soon for Destiny 2. On July 31 you and the rest of the city inhabitants will be able to take part in a celebration of taking down Ghaul and the Red Legion almost one year ago.
During this time of celebration, Guardians will once again don the now-broken ceremonial armor from the day the City was lost to the Red Legion. They do this for many reasons: to remind themselves of what it's like to not be invincible; to challenge themselves and thus inspire the City even more; and to eventually reforge that broken gear into something stronger... just as humanity has been broken and reforged

What was I saying? Oh yeah, Bungie revealed the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 alongside yet another Annual Pass that promises even more content after the release of Forsaken.

You know how this all goes by now.
