The new expansions will see some content cycled in and out of existence.

As part of their pre-release stream for the current Season of Arrivals for Destiny 2, Bungie also let the cat out of the bag for the next three expansions. That's right, there are three expansions already announced for Destiny 2 that will be released through to 2022. It all begins this September with Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

On September 22, 2020, Beyond Light will be released for Destiny 2. When...

Destiny 2's Season Ending Live Event was Incredibly Disappointing

    You had to be there.

As of 2:31PM (ET) on Saturday, June 6, the current season of Destiny 2 effectively came to an end. Season of the Worthy wrapped up much the same way as the rest of the Season left its fans: Not with thunderous applause, but with shrugs and sighs. The plan was to end the season today at 1PM (ET) with a live event. Live events in games seem to be all the rage these days, especially for those who pay any attention at all to powerhouses like Fortnite.

Rockstar, CD Projekt Red, and EA are Working from Home due to Covid-19

    Development continues at safe distances.

Multiple game studios are now requiring employees to work from home due to the still ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Maybe you've heard of it? Teams that are usually busy working together on whatever projects at their respective studios have been told to work from home when possible.

Some of the studios that have taken to working from home include Rockstar Games, CD Projekt Red, and even EA. For the employees at these studios, this means...

  • Bungie Again Pulls a 'We're Listening' to Complaints About Latest Destiny 2 Season

Season of the Worthy has angered Destiny 2 fans in record time.

Destiny 2: Season of the Worthy launched on Tuesday. It took maybe 45 minutes after the new Season's release for the first complaint thread to pop up on Reddit. It usually takes a few days, usually a couple of weeks, before the honeymoon phase ends for a new Destiny 2 content drop. This took 45 minutes and that's a generous estimate. It's not even "just a Reddit thing" either. I've seen the same sentiments and...

Get ready to have Bungie let you down again.

Over the course of the past week, dedicated Destiny 2 players have been attempting to solve a complex puzzle within the Corridors of Time location. Pieces of lore were discovered in addition to a bonus code that gave players a free emblem. It has all been quite elaborate....

Destiny 3 is Not Coming Any Time Soon

Bungie seems to be in it for the long haul with Destiny 2.

With everything currently going on with new Destiny 2 content, it probably stands to reason that Bungie isn't exactly ready yet to talk about anything related to Destiny 3. That is, assuming, there is ever a Destiny 3. So far, it appears as though the independent studio is content with just constantly updating Destiny 2 with new content and seasons, at least for the foreseeable future.

    In an interview with PCGa...

Destiny 2 Season of Dawn Takes Us Back to Mercury and Back in Time

It also brings back an old hero from the dead.

Bungie just revealed the first details for their next season of content coming very soon to Destiny 2. The new season is being called Season of Dawn and whether you like it or not, we're headed back to Mercury. If that was the only thing to take away from this reveal, I'd probably just walk away from the game.

However, Bungie also revealed several other things that are actually kind of neat. Season of Dawn will indeed take...

Destiny 2 Taken Offline for Emergency Maintenance

    Server's haunted.

Bungie has taken down both Destiny and Destiny 2 for "emergency maintenance." This announcement was made via Twitter just a short time ago.

There is no real word on what the issue currently is, but prior to this maintenance, they said that they were looking into problems that were preventing players from logging in.

This is kind of thing was pretty much expected today though. First off, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep was released. Secondly,...

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Delayed Until October 1, Cross-Save Arrives in August

It's only about a two week delay.

Bungie passed along some unfortunate news today. Both Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and the free-to-play launch of Destiny 2: New Light have been pushed back until October 1. The original release date for both of these was September 17, meaning that the delay is a mere two weeks. Yes, this also means that the Steam release of Destiny 2 has also been pushed back to October 1.

Bungie says that they "didn't make this decision lightly." In...

Bungie Details Big Changes Coming to Eververse in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

There are some good changes in store, Guardian.

When Destiny 2: Shadowkeep launches this Fall, Bungie is going to have made a ton of changes to some core mechanics in their space opera shooter. Among those changes will be a fairly drastic overhaul to Eververse and some of the currencies associated with that in-game store.

Eververse has been a small point of contention for Destiny fans ever since the first Destiny title. It is an in-game store that sells various items for...
