Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Gears 5 Surpasses 3 Million Players in First Week

Big numbers bolstered by cheap Game Pass subscriptions.

The Coalition's Gears 5 has seen a moderate amount of success. Microsoft revealed that the Xbox Game Studios published title has surpassed 3 million players across all platforms in its first week. This impressive number is undoubtedly bolstered by a huge number of users taking up Microsoft on their very generous Game Pass offers.

Like other first-party titles, Gears 5 was another Xbox One game that was available on Xbox Game Pass the same day as its retail release. It was also made available...

Halo: Reach Running on a PC in 4K and 60fps Looks Fantastic

    It begins.

The first wave of invites have gone out to a very small group of individuals selected to test Halo: Reach on the PC. Those who have been selected will have access to a single mission in Halo: Reach from today until July 1.

When I say that it was a "small group" that was selected, I mean it. As in the vast majority of people who have signed up as a Halo Insider have not been selected. 343 Industries notes that they picked a handful of people that have "varying ranges of hardware and are using the Windows 10 operating...

Review: Ultralite DT Blue Light Filtering Glasses from Eagle Eyes

I spy, with my filtered eye, something that is…

Today, we are going to be reviewing something a little bit outside of the usual. Usually, we typically just review video games or even the occasional piece of hardware for TGN, but a review for glasses? Well, it's certainly a new one for us.

These are not any old pair of glasses though. These are the Ultralite DT from Eagle Eyes. What sets them apart from other glasses is the promise that they will protect your eyes from blue light that blasts your eyes from any number of digital screens. Eagle...
