They noted that the LinkedIn profile for Lazlow Jones was updated to show the departure from Rockstar.

Valve Cracks Down on Using VPNs to Buy Games Cheaper

This should hopefully lead to more fair regional pricing.

For several years now, users were able to make use of a loophole that allowed them to buy games for cheaper if purchased from certain regions. Users were able to trick Steam into thinking they lived in one region where a price of a game was more favorable to them due to exchange rates. This had the unfortunate side-effect of developers and publishers having to increase prices in these regions to put a stop to those using VPNs...

Red Dead Redemption 2 Coming Soon to Game Pass

Learn about having a little faith beginning May 7.

On May 7, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be added to the Xbox Game Pass. This is only for the console version of the Game Pass and does not include the PC.

However, with this bit of good news comes a little bit of bad news. On the same day, May 7, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft offers a kind reminder that your Game Pass subscription does offer a 20% discount on the game if...

Mike Shapiro, Voice of Half-Life's G-Man, Seems to be Teasing Something

Shapiro hints that his next project is a "blast from the past."

Though Valve has just released Half-Life: Alyx, it wasn't exactly the Half-Life game many fans of the series wanted. Sure, it's an absolutely fantastic game but it's not exactly Half-Life 3, you know? Though it took Valve almost 13 years to get any sort of a new Half-Life game released after Half-Life 2: Episode Two, there may actually be something else coming sooner than you may think.

    One day after...

Rockstar Games Accused of Abusing Tax Laws

Go easy on them, they're a small upstart!

TaxWatch, a UK-based "investigative think tank," just published a report that accuses Rockstar Games of dodging corporate taxes while also taking advantage of millions of pounds worth of tax credits. That is to say, TaxWatch says that Rockstar finagled their profits in a way that keeps its UK-based studios reporting very small figures in order to keep claiming those tax credits, while simultaneously reporting higher than normal profits...

GTA Online is Finally Getting a Casino Update

    It's taken almost six years.

Finally. Finally, the casino is coming to GTA Online. That big ol' building has been sitting north of Los Santos doing absolutely nothing for almost six years now. Its front was adorned with a "Opening Soon!" sign for literally years. Now, it looks like some big changes are finally coming. Former Rockstar Employee Claims Former Executive Sexually Harassed Him

This industry still has a lot of growing up to do.

According to a report filed by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, a former Rockstar designer says that a former top executive groped him. The designer, Colin Brundschu, says that he wasn't sure what to do when he was groped by Jeronimo Barrera, the former VP of product development at Rockstar.

Bundschu says that after he was hired in 2014, his colleagues gave him a warning of "don't cross Jeronimo Barrera." He was warned...
