  • Evolution Board Game Makes Transition to Digital this February on PC and Mobile

On February 12, those on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android will get to play a digital version of the strategy board game called Evolution. Evolution is being adapted to a digital world courtesy of North Star Digital Studios. I don't play board games, so I'll let the press release do most of the work on this one.

Evolution will retail for $14.99 on PC and Mac via Steam. It will be released on iOS and Android as a "free-to-try" game. If you like what you play, you can purchase the full version for $9.99 on these mobile platforms. Plus, all those that purchase...

Next Alien Game is a Mobile Romp

Alien: Isolation is a fantastic horror game from Creative Assembly and Sega. Fans want a sequel but that's just not in the cards right now. In fact, most of the dev team that worked on Alien: Isolation aren't even with the studio any longer.

In spite of that, fans still believed and hoped that an Alien: Isolation sequel was in the cards when the Alien Twitter account began to tease something new just a couple of days ago. ...

Epic Games Reportedly Launching Mobile App Store Next

First, Epic came for Steam on the PC front. They threw piles of cash at studios to put their games on the Epic Games Store for a period of exclusivity that lasts at least one year or more. Now, Epic may be going after that sweet, sweet mobile industry by launching their own mobile games store.

This is according to a new report from MarketWatch.

MarketWatch goes on to say that Epic will once again allow devs to keep 88% of earned revenues. This is in comparison to the 70% that Apple and Google allow for.

Will this store be curated? Will...

Bethesda Pushes The Elder Scrolls: Blades to 2019

Bethesda's upcoming free-to-play mobile title, The Elder Scrolls: Blades was set to be released this Fall. Instead, the studio has officially announced today that the game will not be released until some time in 2019. Things don't really seem to be going well for Bethesda this week, eh?

Given that we are now less than a month away from Winter kicking off, time was getting cut a little close to meet that "Fall" promise. The official word of the delay came via the official Elder Scrolls Twitter account.

You know what? After the state that Fallout 76 was released in, perhaps it's best...

  • Blizzard Reportedly Pulled Diablo 4 Announcement from BlizzCon (Updated)

Blizzard Reportedly Pulled Diablo 4 Announcement from BlizzCon (Updated)

I figure an entirely new news post for this would be appropriate. Yesterday, it was reported from Kotaku's Jason Schreier that Blizzard had apparently pulled a Diablo 4 announcement at the last minute from BlizzCon 2018.

A video had apparently been recorded featuring Blizzard's co-founder Allen Adham talking to fans about a new Diablo project. The original statement says that Blizzard pulled this video announcement from BlizzCon 2018 at the last minute. Blizzard has since come forward to make a public statement about this, saying that no, this wasn't the case at all.

Blizzard Reportedly Pulled Diablo 4 Announcement from BlizzCon

A new report from Kotaku's Jason Schrier says that Blizzard pulled a Diablo 4 announcement from BlizzCon ahead of the annual event. Last week, the single Diablo reveal was for Diablo Immortal, a new game coming exclusively to mobile devices running Android and iOS.

Naturally, people were upset. This is despite Blizzard and the Diablo developers saying that they have "multiple teams working on different Diablo projects" but they would not talk about all of them during BlizzCon 2018.

Diablo Immortal Announced for Mobile Devices

Blizzard announced and revealed quite a bit of Diablo Immortal today, a new entry in the popular franchise that is coming to a mobile device near you.

Wait! Hold up! Yes, it's a mobile Diablo game, but take a look at it this way: Instead of clicking a mouse thousands of times with your finger, you are tapping a screen with the same finger for just as many times. It's almost like it's the same thing but on a smaller screen. Yeah? Yeah, ok then let's check out what this is all about then.

Command & Conquer: Rivals Coming to Mobile Devices on December 4

Hey, there's a new Command & Conquer game coming. It's a mobile game.

Command & Conquer: Rivals will hit Android and iOS devices come December 4. It promises to deliver a "fast-paced, RTS action game" built for mobile users. I am confident this will make fans of the older games absolutely thrilled. However, given EA's apparent commitment to seeing this game succeed in a competitive sense, they may actually find something to like here.
Command & Conquer: Rivals will become the next official EA competitive gaming franchise to roll out a complete competitive program, including community tournaments and a championship pro scene. In Command
