Obsidian Announces New Co-op Survival Game at X019

The first game from Obsidian under Microsoft is a co-op survival game.

At X019, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios announced a new co-op survival game. Grounded is a first-person game that tasks you and a friend with surviving the dangers of a suburban backyard. That's right, you are the size of an ant. You're still a human but you're teeny and some might say tiny.

A little film by the name of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids has been preparing me for this game since the early 90s.

Grounded is looking to be released Spring 2020 for the Xbox...

    Shenmue 3 Launch Trailer

A headline very few thought they'd read.

A launch trailer for Shenmue 3 was released today ahead of its November 19 release date. I'm sure this is a trailer few thought you would actually see, especially with the questionable crowdfunding campaign and Epic exclusive shenanigans that have gone on.

But if you stuck with the game through all of that and are still somehow looking forward to Shenmue 3, next week is your week. Let's see what PlayStation 4 and Epic Games Store users have to look forward to. Maybe after all is said and done you can begin...

Review: Journey for Elysium (PC VR)

A short trip to the afterlife.

For the past several months now, we have offered up glimpses of the story-driven VR adventure title Journey for Elysium. We saw a game that had a unique visual style, the promise of a story that would take us all to an afterlife, a world filled with architecture inspired by Greek mythology, and mind-bending puzzles to solve. The unique visual style was certainly eye catching, but I often wondered if the rest of the game would be able to hold up to this aesthetically pleasing presentation.

    With the release of Journey...

We Happy Few DLC 'We All Fall Down' Releases on November 19

This will be the game's last piece of DLC.

Gearbox Publishing and developer Compulsion Games announced the release date for We All Fall Down, the final piece of DLC for We Happy Few. Though the original game came out near the tail end of 2018, Compulsion Games has continued to support the title with a number of content updates and general updates here and there. Perhaps it's time to return to the game to see how it has improved since I reviewed it back in August of 2018.

In We All Fall Down, you play as Victoria Byng, a woman on a mission to...

Dragon Ball Super Broly Coming Soon to Dragon Ball FighterZ

    Get ready for more Broly.

A Dragon Ball Super variant of Broly is coming soon to Dragon Ball FigherZ, the fighting game from Bandai Namco and Arc System Works. A firm release date wasn't given in the press release, nor was it provided in the new trailer (seen below), but I'm guessing he will be added to the roster "soon."

Broly (DBS) apparently "has some ideas on who is the most powerful and baddest Saiyan of them all" is. He's also "looking forward to bringing the hurt to anyone who challenges his power." Well,...
