Stalker Online Coming Later this Year

Those who wanted a new Stalker experience are kind of getting their wish.

Later this year, a new desktop Stalker title will be released. Of course, this isn't a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, but a new Stalker game. Yes, there is a difference. It's going to be called Stalker Online and as you may have already assumed from the name, it will be open-world MMO type of game.

This game is inspired by the 1979 film, Stalker, just as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are. So it's kind of the same, but different, but still the same. At any rate, a new trailer is out today for Stalker Online....

    Capcom Officially Unveils Project Resistance

It's being billed as a "new experience" set in the Resident Evil universe.

Capcom has officially announced a new go at survival horror. It's not quite a mainline Resident Evil title, but it is set in the same universe as those games. It's called Project Resistance (working title) and it is an asymmetrical online multiplayer game for up to five players. The game is, and stop me if you've heard this one before, a four vs. one game. A group of four survivors must work together to try to escape the horrors around them. A fifth person plays as the Mastermind. The Mastermind...

  • Modern Warfare Multiplayer to Feature Game Mode with Over 100 Players

Plus, new details about crossplay, the season pass, and more.

Infinity Ward revealed today that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature a 100-player Ground War mode for its launch in October. I have to imagine that some people at DICE and EA are paying a bit more attention to the franchise knowing that this is a thing that is very real and very much coming soon.

The reveal of the game's multiplayer says that there will be quick, close-quarter 2v2 experiences with the Gunfight game mode. Traditional 6v6 multiplayer modes will still exist in addition to modes that support...

Actually, Black Mesa has been in development since 2008 after being announced in 2005. So, depending on how you look at it, it's been in some sort of development phase for anywhere between 11 and 14 years now.

The mod version of Black Mesa did come out back in 2012. It wasn't until 2015 that an Early Access release of the game was released. It's still considered as an Early Access release because the game was incomplete....

Warhammer: Chaosbane Second Beta Phase Trailer

A trailer is here highlighting the big opening for the second phase of the closed beta for Warhammer: Chaosbane. So I guess this is a double whammy of a news post here. Not only is there a new trailer for this second phase of the beta, but it's also news that the second phase of the beta is now live.

    Neat.

This beta is still "closed" in the sense that it's only available for those that pre-ordered the game. If you haven't done that, you can still get into the beta by picking up one of the game's three flavors (Standard, Magnus, or Digital Deluxe). The...

Come January 18th, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will get to try out Jump Force in what Bandai Namco is calling an "open beta weekend." Be it a true beta or a "demo" is besides the point because what really matters is that you will finally get to test drive the fighting game that we have been passing along news about now for months.

Here's how it's going to go down. First off, there will be four separate three-hour long sessions:

Secondly? Well, that's kind of it. Just make sure you download the demo and you can play during...
