Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

The latest game from the Until Dawn devs.

Supermassive Games have released The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan today on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is a new thriller from the same team that brought us Until Dawn on the PlayStation 4.

Man of Medan allows you to control five different characters, who can all live or die based on the decisions you make as a player. As with Until Dawn, Man of Medan includes a number of branching story paths, which should lend itself nicely to more than one playthrough.

    There is both...

Genesis Noir Explores the Big Bang and a Love Triangle Gone Wrong

A story of romance, black holes, and jazz music.

Genesis Noir was revealed this past weekend during the PC Gaming Show at E3. It is a unique looking game that will have players exploring themes of romance and science. It explores the idea of black holes and love. It takes place before, during, and after the Big Bang. No, it doesn't have anything to do with the terrible TV show, nor does it have a laugh track, but it does have psychedelic jazz music.

Genesis Noir is hard to explain for those of us who haven't played it. It's better to take a look...

Review: A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

    Incredible from start to finish.

Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters. Though there are a couple of small missteps along the way, the journey you share with siblings Amicia and Hugo is one you really don't want to miss.

There are many more review "buzz words" I could use to describe A Plague Tale,...

Review: Close to the Sun (PC)

Come out to the Helios, we'll get together, have a few laughs…

Close to the Sun is the latest offering in the genre mashup that blends horror with a story driven narrative experience. It is developed by Storm in a Teacup and published by Wired Productions. This particular review focuses on the PC version of the game, but will be coming later this year to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It should be noted that the PC release looks to be an Epic Games Store exclusive. I maybe wouldn't hold my breath on seeing it appear on other PC storefronts, at least...
