The new Necromancy combat system for RuneScape was given a fresh reveal trailer. Developer Jagex says that this addition of Necromancy is just one of the major updates planned for RuneScape in 2023.

Necromancy is a skill that "is designed for current, returning, and new players" that will let them "embrace their inner darkness." Players will get to control the undead and actually lead a battle...

A special State of Play focused on Final Fantasy 16 aired a short time ago today. PlayStation and Square Enix shared quite a bit of new footage and information on this upcoming PS5 exclusive action-RPG.

Final Fantasy 16 is out on June 22 for the PlayStation 5. Other platforms, including a potential PC release, have not yet been officially announced or confirmed yet. ...

These six classic RPGs are now coming to more platforms.

Though already released for PC via Steam and mobile devices, the Final Fantasy pixel remaster series is finally coming to more platforms. On April 19, those on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will be able to pick up the first six Final Fantasy titles with some nice quality of life improvements.

Those quality of life improvements include features such as the ability to switch between the newly rearranged soundtrack...

So is this PC version that "doesn't exist" actually announced now or...?

Earlier this year, Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida said that if you wanted to play the new Square Enix developed RPG you should just "buy a PlayStation 5." He sure seemed to indicate at that time that a PC release of the game just wasn't in the cards yet.

Square Enix released Octopath Traveler 2 today for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Amazon Games MMORPG to begin offering free and premium Season Passes.

Amazon Games say that they are changing things up a bit for their MMORPG, New World. This change includes a move to a seasonal model, complete with free and premium Season Pass offerings.

Amazon says that this change will begin on March 28. This will supposedly allow the studio to get more frequent updates out to players that include more regular content offerings. Some of the new content offerings...

A legendary RPG from the PlayStation 1 days is finally getting a new lease on life some 23 years after its initial release. Sony is getting ready to add a bunch of titles to their PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. A playable demo for Octopath Traveler 2 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 is available right now. A PC demo will arrive on Steam on Thursday, February 9th.

This demo serves as a bit of a prologue to the game and will let you play any of the eight protagonists for up to three hours. Save data from this demo will carry over to the full game when it launches on February 24, 2023.
