    Kiryu Joins Rainbow Six Siege

    Well, sort of.

Year 7 Season 2 for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will begin on June 7. When it arrives, it will feature a crossover with the Yakuza franchise that probably nobody saw coming.

There will be exclusive bundles released for the Rainbow Six Operators Echo and Hibana that transform them into Kazuma Kiryu and Kaoru Sayama respectively. The end of the new trailer showcasing these skins offered up a tease of a possible third skin that sure as hell seems like Goro...

This game apparently still exists in some form.

Narrated footage from the Skull and Bones tutorial leaked online in the very early hours today. The game, based off of the naval combat fans largely enjoyed in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, has seemingly been stuck in development hell for the past six years. The game was last officially shown off at E3 2018.

Skull and Bones was first revealed at E3 2017, with more footage shown at E3 2018. News about the game fell off...

Bloomberg says that, at least so far, Ubisoft has not yet entered into serious negotiations with any of the potential buyers. A similar report over the weekend by Kotaku says that...

Try Ubisoft+ for Free for a Week

A whole week of free access to over 100 games.

If you aren't subscribed to Ubisoft+, and I don't know any who are, you can try it out for free for a week. According to Ubisoft, those who subscribe between now (April 12) and 9AM (UTC) on May 11 will get a free week of access to Ubisoft+.

This is worded really oddly, so I'm not sure if you do or do not need to "subscribe" to Ubisoft+, complete with a credit card, to get this free week and then cancel before they...

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Will No Longer Receive New Content

I'm sure dozens of people are upset by this.

Ubisoft announced that they will no longer release any new content for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This reveal comes several months after the release of the last piece of content for the game, Operation Motherland, which came out on November 2, 2021.

Really, today's announcement was probably just a confirmation of what the remaining fans of the game already kind of figured out by now. Ghost Recon Breakpoint did receive about two...

  • Out of Touch Ubisoft Executive Says Gamers 'Don't Get It' When it Comes to NFTs

NFTs continue to be a scam.

Remember how back in December 2021, Ubisoft announced Ubisoft Quartz, which was a series of new NFTs that aim to fleece enrich the lives of video game players? The response to Quartz was super expected by anybody with even half a brain: Nobody wanted it. Nobody saw the benefit of it. Everybody saw it as a way to just squeeze more cash out of people by artificially creating scarcity using a system known to be harmful to the environment and used only by the...

Ubisoft is Bleeding Employees in Wake of Company-wide Issues

Numerous employees are quitting due to low pay, the lack of change, and other issues.

People quitting their jobs in search of more fulfilling careers really isn't all that uncommon here in late 2021. We have seen it across multiple industries and workplaces as workers start to realize that they're worth more than the bare minimum many employers offer them.

And while this is happening within the gaming industry as well, it seems to be happening at a much higher rate at...
