Cyberpunk 2077 Expansions are Still a Go

CD Projekt Red confirms that more content is coming.

Yesterday, CD Projekt Red said that they have "decided to reconsider" the future of multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077. I mean, that's no real loss there because there aren't exactly any details for the multiplayer that ever surfaced. What would have been a bigger loss is is the company decided to scrap their expansion plans for the game.

Good news today as it has been confirmed by the studio that they are still...

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.2 is Delayed

You have the recent cyber attack to thank for this.

CD Projekt Red has officially decided to delay the release of Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077. The reason? CD Projekt Red says that the recent hacking is to blame for this. This hacking saw the source code stolen for several of their titles along with multiple sensitive company documents. Their servers were also hit with an encryption attack.

CD Projekt Red says that they "need some additional time" because "the...

  • CD Projekt Red Shuts Down Cyberpunk Mod that Allowed Players to Have Sex with Keanu Reeves

Gonna have to get your kicks elsewhere.

A mod that was up on Nexus Mods allowed Cyberpunk 2077 players to have awkward sex with Keanu Reeves was shut down by CD Projekt Red. Essentially, this mod was a character swap that placed Johnny Silverhand as one of the game's sex workers. It apparently wasn't all that great of a swap because Johnny never takes off his clothes and the lines are those of the game's Joytoy that he replaces, but alas... people were still probably really into it....

Official Mod Tools Rolled Out for Cyberpunk 2077

    Going the Bethesda route.

Though a few Cyberpunk 2077 mods have already popped up since its December release, these were done prior to there being any sort of official mod support for the game. Today, CD Projekt Red finally rolled out the start of their official mod support, which will hopefully allow modders to fix the game in ways that CD Projekt will not.

These official modding tools are in their infancy and seem rather limited in their scope. They are certainly not...
