    PlayStation 5 Professional Teardown

    Sony tears apart the PS5.

Sony decided to offer up a professional teardown of the PlayStation 5 hardware before any other outlet got the chance to do so. The process seems to be pretty straight forward, at least as far as teardowns are concerned.

Removing the side panels seems to be easy enough. From there, you have access to the extra M.2 compartment that will allow you to expand your storage. This will come in quite handy given that there are some reports suggesting...

Sony is Hosting a Special PlayStation 5 Showcase on September 16

    It's about time.

Now that Microsoft revealed their prices and availability dates for their Xbox Series X|S, it makes sense that Sony would quickly need to play catch up. Sure, Microsoft's hand was probably forced by those Xbox Series S rumors, but that's neither here nor there at this point.

We expect that Sony will need to make an announcement about the prices and availability for their PlayStation 5 lineup. Without those things, Microsoft is busy eating Sony's lunch...

More PC Ports in Sony's Future

Expect more first-party Sony titles to show up on PC.

The Sony Corporate Report 2020 states that the company wants to bring even more first-party titles to the PC platform in the future. This is obviously in addition to other former PlayStation 4 exclusives that have made their way to the PC, including Horizon Zero Dawn. You could also include Death Stranding into the mix if you really want, but that one was a third party title from the very start. It just so happened to be exclusive...

This is What PlayStation 5 Game Cases will Look Like

It's a game case, not the Mona Lisa.

Sony revealed today what the game cases for PlayStation 5 titles will look like. They showed off the case for the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the PS5 exclusive coming from Insomniac Games.

Having seen a few in my day I can confirm that yeah, that is indeed a game case. The white and black design on the top banner area really seems to jive well with their general theme for the PS5 design. And much like the PlayStation...
