  • Borderlands 3 Dated for September 13, 2019 - Confirmed Six Month Exclusive to Epic Games Store

Borderlands 3 will officially be released on September 13, 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games Store for PC. In case you missed the obvious "hints" dropped earlier this week, or were in denial as I repeatedly saw from people on other sites, the PC release is indeed a six month timed exclusive on the Epic Game Store before it will hit other PC storefronts like Steam.

However, the point of this isn't to talk about how completely bullshit exclusives are, especially when it comes to the PC market, but we are instead here to talk about Borderlands...

  • Now Deleted Borderlands 3 Tweets Suggest September 13 Release on Epic Store (Updated)

Earlier today, the official Borderlands 3 Twitter account put up some now deleted tweets. Normally this wouldn't be a "thing" to care about, but these particular tweets included some previously unknown information about the release of Borderlands 3.

Among the information revealed is the potential release date for the game. The date looks to be September 13, 2019. In addition, it seems as though pre-orders for the game will get access to the Gold Weapon Skins Pack, a similar pre-order bonus to the one offered with the release of Borderlands 2. It also seems as though...

Civilization VI: Gathering Storm Expansion Announced

The second expansion for Civilization VI was officially announced today after about a day of teasing from 2K and Firaxis Games. Civilization VI: Gathering Storm will be released on February 14, 2019 but what exactly does this new expansion add?

Well, for one thing it adds in an "active planet" where the environment may prove to be a bigger foe than any other civilization out there.
Civilization VI: Gathering Storm will introduce an active planet where geology and climatology present unique new challenges. Players will build new Engineering Projects, manage their cities' Power and Consumable Resources and work with other world leaders in the World Congress to deal with the challenges presented by the dynamic

WWE 2K19 Wooooo! Edition Announced Featuring, You Guessed It, Ric Flair

The Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair, will grace the cover of the special WWE 2K19 Wooooo! Edition release of the annual wrestling game. I'm not going to lie, that's a pretty sweet name for a special edition of a game right there. What might not be so great is the $129.99 (USD) price tag that is being asked for it. That's just too rich for my blood but you might be interested!
The WWE 2K19 Wooooo! Edition will include:
o Access to WWE 2K19 Season Pass digital content (details announced this summer); o Exclusive playable WWE Hall of Famers ('80s-inspired): "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes and Ricky "The

Carnival Games Brings Party Games to the Nintendo Switch in November

2K is bringing back their Carnival Games franchise, this time for the Nintendo Switch. The game is simply going to be titled Carnival Games and it will release on November 6 for $39.99 (USD). I assume this is a reboot of the series given that it's not like "Carnival Games 3."
Like a real-life county fair, Carnival Games allows players of all ages and experience levels to enjoy classic games like ring toss ("Post Master") and alley ball horse racing ("Roll-R-Derby"), as well as brand new attractions like drone racing ("Light Speed") and cosmic bowling ("Cosmic Strike"). Four uniquely themed alleys - Jungle Lane, Saturn

Today, both 2K and their newly announced WWE 2K19 cover Superstar AJ Styles revealed a special $1 million (USD) challenge. I mean, you have the chance to win $1 million, not that the challenge itself cost $1 million to issue. Or maybe it did, who knows.

2K and Take-Two pulled in professional NBA star LeBron James to grace the cover of NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition. James shared a few words on what this means to him.
"It's humbling to be on the 20th anniversary cover of a game I've played and loved since I was a little kid," said James. Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition Rated for PC, PS4, and XB1

Over in Korea, they're quite busy rating games that have not yet been publicly announced yet. The latest seems to be Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition which has been rated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Either the Korean ratings board is just super board and wanting to troll the world or there is something to these mysterious new ratings that they're handing out.

2K first released the original Borderlands for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC back in late 2009. They have not yet appeared on current-generation platforms, unlike the sequels. Both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel were remastered...

Rumor: New BioShock in Development from 2K

According to some quick investigative work by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, a "top-secret" 2K studio is working on a "top-secret" new BioShock game. Schreier found this out while reporting on a story about Hangar 13 and how that studio lost its way with Mafia III.

This should probably not come as too big of a surprise to anybody. It will be interesting to see how this new BioShock game fares without Ken Levine and Irrational Games.
