Sega and Tencent Also Ditch E3 2023

This show is about to feature Konami and Konami only.

A day after Ubisoft announced that they were not going to attend E3 2023 after all, comes word that neither Sega nor Tencent will be there either. This news was shared with IGN by "numerous individuals in publishing and PR who typically have knowledge of event strategies."

Many of these sources told IGN that they have not yet heard of anyone else who is planning to attend E3 2023. They also say that part of...

Crime Boss: Rockay City Launch Trailer

Get another look at a lot of yesterday's biggest stars.

A launch trailer came out today for Crime Boss: Rockay City. If you don't know about this game, I can't say I really blame you. As far as I know, the only thing we heard about this game previously was when it was announced during The Game Awards last December.

I haven't seen any news about this. I haven't seen previews about this game. In fact, they still haven't really shown off just what you're even doing in this...

Ubisoft says that they no longer plan on attending E3 2023. This comes just a month after Ubisoft initially said that they would be in attendance at the revamped in-person event. Though companies such as Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo already said they weren't going to E3 2023, Ubisoft is the first major publisher to pull out of E3.

Ubisoft, in a statement issued to VGC, says that the company...

Generation Zero Turns 4 as Devs Promise More Years to Come

The open-world action game has come a long way since release.

When Generation Zero launched four years back, it sure left a lot to be desired. The game felt mechanically clunky and there were a myriad of other issues that just left a bit of a sour taste in a lot of players' mouths. Since that release, developer Systemic Reaction has released numerous updates, fixes, and quite a bit of additional content (some free, some paid) that have pushed the game to sitting at a comfy "Mostly...

    Battlefield 2042 Update 4.1.0 Changelog

This update arrives the final week of March.
Next week, DICE is preparing to roll out the 4.1.0 update for Battlefield 2042. This is the first major update for Season 4: Eleventh Hour, though it's not the first update of the season. This one is a doozy. It contains new vault weapons, an overhaul to how armor plates work, improvements to text chat, and much more.

Before diving into the decently long changelog for update 4.1.0, DICE also shared a bit of information on the upcoming...

  • Elden Ring Update Adds Extremely Subtle Ray Tracing to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series

The latest patch adds in some graphical eye candy for those that can run it.

Like the comic, this game will be a darker and more mature take on the Turtles.

  • Ah I get it. I fell off of Counter-Strike a long time back. I'm sure I'll at least look at CS2 when I can, but I'm also certainly not as excited as active players are.

As for the other changes, apparently there's a lot more than what they highlighted. I think the whole tick-less thing is also pretty huge and obviously better visuals. It's more than I expected them to do for an initial release at least. Even if it's just these 3 things, they already did more than what OW2 did IMO.

Microsoft Cancelled a PlayStation 5 Version of Redfall

Arkane's Harvey Smith says a planned PS5 version was scrapped following Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda.

Redfall is an upcoming cooperative FPS that will have you and up to three additional friends roaming the town of Redfall slaying vampires. Redfall was announced as being exclusive for PC and Xbox platforms, which does make a lot of sense seeing as how the developer, Arkane, is owned by Bethesda and Bethesda is owned by Microsoft.

In an interview with IGN France,...
