It's been a few years, but UFC is returning from EA Sports.

The last UFC title from EA Sports was EA Sports UFC 3, which was released back in 2018. The franchise took a few years off, perhaps to retool and gauge interest, but it is about ready to make its big return. EA Sports UFC 4 was just revealed featuring UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal as the cover athletes. This release is said to "put the player and their created...

From August 2020 to Spring 2021.

Amazon Games announces that they have decided to delay the release of their upcoming MMORPG, New World. The game was originally slated to arrive on August 25 buuuuuuut that's not happening anymore. Instead, the studio has decided to postpone the game until a general Spring 2021 release window.

This is What PlayStation 5 Game Cases will Look Like

It's a game case, not the Mona Lisa.

Sony revealed today what the game cases for PlayStation 5 titles will look like. They showed off the case for the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the PS5 exclusive coming from Insomniac Games.

Having seen a few in my day I can confirm that yeah, that is indeed a game case. The white and black design on the top banner area really seems to jive well with their general theme for the PS5 design. And much like the PlayStation...

Blizzard to Drop Fee for Changing Gender in World of Warcraft

    Change will come with Shadowlands.

Currently, players need to plunk down a not-insignificant amount of money if they wish to change the gender and appearance of their character in World of Warcraft. That current fee is $15 (USD), but it will soon be made free. This is according to a new report from Eurogamer that says Blizzard will make this change when the Shadowlands expansion releases later this year.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Blizzard executive producer John...

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope New Release Date Set for Halloween

Well, it's just one day off of a Halloween release, but still.

The last we heard about The Dark Pictures Anthology: LIttle Hope was that the game was being delayed. We did not have a firm release date told to us at the time, but that seems to be rectified with today's announcement. That announcement says that The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will be released on October 30, which is just in time for Halloween.

At release, the game will support single player, online...

  • I mean... it's got a story. It might not be the best story but it's got one.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't care less about the overall story of the franchise, especially since it's gone off the rails as of late (so I hear). So I agree on that part. I think a lot of it also kind of falls flat when so much of the story is tied into non-gaming supplements like however many books there are. Never read any of them so I don't know how much of the "story" I'm missing or not....

Details Dished on WWE 2K Battlegrounds

Details reveal game modes, pricing, and gameplay elements.

In April, we first brought you word that 2K was doing away with this year's annual iteration of the woefully broken and busted WWE 2K franchise. This year, the studio has instead opted for a more arcadey approach to the genre with WWE 2K Battlegrounds. While this may not be what fans of the more sim focused series necessarily wanted, it is a good opportunity for the yearly franchise to take a break and re-tool itself for 2021....

Mafia: Definitive Edition Delayed Until Late September

    Gameplay reveal coming July 22.

Given that we have not yet seen any sort of gameplay for Mafia: Definitive Edition, it should not come as any surprise that the game has been delayed. The lack of gameplay was especially concerning as the game was originally slated to be released on August 28. It was just revealed to be pushed back to a September 25 release instead. The reason? Yep, it's our old pal COVID-19 showing up again.

The announcement of the delay comes alongside...

Halo 3 Hits PC on July 14

    Believe.

Depending on when you read this, Halo 3 on PC will either be coming out shortly or will already be released. One week from today, on July 14th, Halo 3 will be added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC.

Today's announcement comes after a series of test flights for the game. These tests are essentially beta events that pull in data to ensure that the public launch of the game sucks as little butt as possible. It seems as though 343 Industries is satisfied...

Rockstar Might Be Working on a VR Game with Former Team Bondi Devs

Sydney-based developer Video Games Deluxe, is said to be working on a new "AAA open-world title in VR for Rockstar." Video Games Deluxe is made up of some former devs of Team Bondi. You may recall Team Bondi from their previous (and only) creation L.A. Noire.

Team Bondi had a number of "controversies" during the development of L.A. Noire. This includes but is not limited to having omitted well over 100...
