More Permanent Playlists are Coming to Halo Infinite Multiplayer

Some franchise mainstays will be returning to the game.

Halo Infinite's multiplayer is quite good, but it's certainly not without some faults. One of those issues that isn't the Battle Pass progression system, is the fact that the game shipped with only a few game modes. Fans have been more than eager for the return of modes like free-for-all (FFA) and SWAT.

Thankfully, those modes and more will be coming to Halo Infinite. A Twitter post by 343 Industries community manager...

It Takes Two Caught Up in Trademark Dispute with Take-Two

Developer Hazelight has been forced to abandon their trademark.

The stellar co-op title, It Takes Two, has been caught up in a trademark claim from Grand Theft Auto's parent company, Take-Two Interactive. It Takes Two is the latest release from Hazelight, the studio founded by Josef "Fuck the Oscars" Fares.

It Takes Two is a widely acclaimed co-op puzzle adventure title that focuses on parents who are getting divorced. Putting it that way is really doing the...

Christmas Skins Coming to Battlefield 2042 and Fans Aren't Happy

Ho ho holy crap, what is this franchise turning into?

When Update #3 for Battlefield 2042 released earlier today, there were a few surprises included that shouldn't have been. DICE had mistakenly included the cosmetics that would be coming as rewards for the in-game weekly challenge system. DICE says that the weekly challenges will begin one week from today.

As they were included briefly after the patch dropped, you can be sure that people took plenty of screenshots for...

How to Fix Broken Mouse Movement in Battlefield 2042

DICE somehow totally broke mouse aiming in Update #3.

If you downloaded Update #3 for Battlefield 2042, and found yourself unable to aim left or right on the PC, you aren't alone. DICE somehow broke mouse aiming as part of the rollout for their latest update.

DICE has publicly acknowledged their blunder and have listed a potential fix under their Live Service Alerts.

Their suggestion is to restore all default settings by going to My Documents > Battlefield...

DICE Did Not Fix the Battlefield 2042 Revolver Reload

    When a six-shooter turns into a five-shooter.

One of the (several) bugs included in Battlefield 2042 was an issue involving the M44 sidearm. Prior to today's release of Update #3, the gun had a very odd issue with how reloading was handled.

At release, a reload of the gun when empty would only reload five rounds. The problem is, there are six rounds in the chamber. You can see it during the reload animation. The gun is supposed to have six rounds and you have 18 rounds...

EA Wants to Create a 'Connected Battlefield Universe'

EA wants to take a Call of Duty approach to the Battlefield franchise.

As part of its major overhaul to the Battlefield development teams, EA also says that they are looking to create a "connected Battlefield universe." The major publisher wants to expand upon the franchise much like Activision has done with the Call of Duty franchise. Taken at face value, this could indicate that EA wants to have multiple studios create Battlefield games and experiences on a more regular...

Battlefield Teams Get Major Overhaul from EA

EA says they are restructuring its development teams as it looks to "grow Battlefield."

Battlefield 2042 is a bad game and you should not buy it. That seems to be the prevailing thought from most fans who have played the game for any length of time since its release just a couple of days back. It's a game that is full of bugs, barren maps, idiotic Specialists, a huge focus on vehicular combat, and more missing "legacy" features than you can shake a stick at....

  • Still no points for SOFLAM users if a teammate kills the target.
Still no assist/kill points if you did 99% of the damage to a vehicle and someone else gets the last hit. Congrats on the 10 points for the nebulous "part disabled" while a teammate who gets the last hit can get multiple kills at 50XP a piece. Neat.
Still too many cutscenes before and after rounds.
    No persistent servers.
    No scoreboard.
No word about adding in literally ANYTHING to the interiors...

Big Changes are Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone

With a new map comes some big changes to loadouts.

On December 8, Caldera will be the new map, Caldera, taking over Call of Duty: Warzone. This new map is quite tropical in nature as it's set in the Pacific after-all, and will release alongside the first season for Call of Duty: Vanguard. Activision says that the new map was "built on learnings from the community."

Alongside the start of the season and the new Warzone map will be the introduction of the Ricochet...

  • Battlefield 2042 Update 3 Changelog

    Battlefield 2042 Update 3 Changelog

A changelog that rivals the length of a CVS Pharmacy receipt.

Battlefield 2042 is in a sad state, even following the release of Update #2 just last week. We all knew that Update #3 was coming and that it would be far more substantial than Update #2 was. Today, DICE released the changelog for Battlefield 2042 Update #3 and it is a long one.

The length of this changelog almost makes you think that maybe this game shouldn't have been released when it was. And you know what?...

Valve Confirms There Won't be Steam Deck Exclusive Games

    Well, duh.

In the newly updated FAQ page for their upcoming Steam Deck, Valve says that they are not interested in developers making Steam Deck exclusive titles. This startling revelation should really come as no surprise to anybody who has been paying attention to what the Steam Deck is for any length of time. It is, after all, merely a handheld PC.

Valve's remarks about this came about during a recently Steamworks Steam Deck event where developers and publishers asked...
