    Well, sort of.

    Year 7 Season 2 for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will begin on June 7. When it arrives, it will feature a crossover with the Yakuza franchise that probably nobody saw coming.

    Sega to Delist Sonic Games Ahead of Sonic Origins Release

    Better get them fast.

    Sega says they are delisting the individual versions of Sonic titles from digital storefronts in anticipation of the release of Sonic Origins. This includes Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD.

    There are a few exceptions to this. The first two Sonic titles will remain available via Sega Ages on the Nintendo Switch. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will also still be available through the Sega Genesis on Nintendo Switch Online +.

    Sonic Origins Release Date Announced

    It'll be a celebration of Sonic's birthday.

    Two Point Campus Delayed

    You won't be able to build your own school until August.

    Some sad news today as word has come from Sega and Two Point Studios that Two Point Campus has been delayed. The goofy sim-style game has been pushed out of a May 17 release to August 9.

    The developer says that they "want to make sure that every single one of you gets the best quality game no matter what you're playing on." As such, the team needs some more time to optimize the game for all platforms....

    Yakuza Studio Working on New Franchise

    Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is busy working on a new project that isn't a new Judgment or Yakuza title.

    In a new interview with Famitsu (transcribed by ryokutya), Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director Masayohi Yokoyama revealed that the studio is planning on creating a new game that is separate from either the Yakuza and Judgment titles.

    Nintendo has finally revealed the pricing and availability date for their Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.     Lost Judgment Post-Release Content Roadmap

    Some of this will be available at launch as well.

    Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio detailed the digital content roadmap for Lost Judgment. Those that pre-order the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game will get bonus content both at launch and afterwards. There will also be an Early Access period starting on September 21 for the game that technically won't be out until September 24.

    NetEase is Close to Finalizing Deal to Poach Yakuza Creator from Sega

    The company is in "final negotiations" with creator Toshihiro Nagoshi.

    The Chinese developer and publisher, NetEase, is reportedly in "final negotiations" with Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi to steal him away from Sega, the company he has been with sine 1989. Bloomberg reports that at NetEase, Nagoshi would build up a new team and develop new games for the company.

    Japanese Talent Agency to Blame for Lack of Judgment on PC

    Sega is unable to reach an agreement with the talent agency.

    If you found it weird and annoying that Judgment wasn't coming to PC, you certainly weren't alone. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2019 and came to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and even Stadia in April 2021. At the time, Sega said they had no plans for a PC release.
