Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Delayed Until October 1, Cross-Save Arrives in August

It's only about a two week delay.

Bungie passed along some unfortunate news today. Both Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and the free-to-play launch of Destiny 2: New Light have been pushed back until October 1. The original release date for both of these was September 17, meaning that the delay is a mere two weeks. Yes, this also means that the Steam release of Destiny 2 has also been pushed back to October 1.

Bungie says that they "didn't make this decision lightly." In fact, they apologize to those who were already taking time off from work or school to play the release...

Shenmue 3 Delayed Until November 2019

It's now coming just two weeks after Death Stranding.

Shenmue III has officially been given a three month delay. This news comes courtesy of a Yu Suzuki update to the official Shenmue III Kickstarter page. The game was originally slated to drop on August 27, 2019 but has now been pushed back until November 19, 2019.

This now places the game just two weeks after the release of Death Stranding and just four days after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I'm sure there will be even more titles released in this particular window. The end of the year is usually one of the busiest...

The Sinking City Delayed Until June

Though originally slated to be released on March 21, 2019, the upcoming investigative horror title, The Sinking City, has been delayed. The new release date for the title is now June 27, 2019. This delay applies to all platforms, those being the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

We got a nice gameplay video for The Sinking City last week. The video showed off some of the investigation parts of the gameplay. I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? You are a detective after all. You just happen to be a detective investigating weird things going on that may or may not involve a powerful...

  • Valve Delays Artifact Beta

    Valve Delays Artifact Beta

Valve's beta for Artifact has been delayed until November 19. The beta was supposed to begin this month but that isn't happening. There is also concern that the game itself, which is still slated to begin on November 28, will also be pushed back due to the very late start on the beta.

PC Gamer seems to be the first outlet to notice this delay. They spotted a tweet by Wykrhm Reddy, a known tester for Valve, in which the November 19 date was prominently featured for the start of the beta.
This date was then confirmed by others who reported receiving emails announcing the November 19 release date for th...

Fortnite: Save the World Free Release Delayed

This probably won't come as a shock to some of you and will probably make others go "isn't Fortnite just a battle royale game?", but the promised free release of the Save the World campaign for Fortnite has been delayed. First of all, no, Fortnite isn't just the battle royale game. In fact, it was a cooperative game focused on building and survival against zombies long before battle royale came about. But then battle royale happened and it was made clear that the Save the World campaign took a backseat, perhaps understandably so. Save the World has been accessible only to those that payed to get into the game early but it was forever promised by Epic tha...

THQ Nordic and Bugbear announced that Wreckfest will not be making its planned release on November 20, 2018 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has instead been delayed until some time in 2019.
Anti-bullshit quote: "Wreckfest for consoles will only be released as soon as we love playing it. After the fantastic release on PC, the benchmark for the console release is much higher. At this moment, the team needs more time to polish the multiplayer part, as well as the overall performance on the game to bring it up to par with the experience on PC. We are sorry for keeping fans waiting longer because of this. However, we already have compensation

Battlefield V's Co-op "Combined Arms" Mode Coming After Launch

According to the multiplayer portion of the Battlefield V website, the co-op focused "Combined Arms" mode for the game will be released after the game's launch.

This mode joins the battle royale mode as being yet another piece of content that won't be ready for Battlefield V's launch on October 19. Hell, for a long time there, it was also rumored that the much discussed Grand Operations mode would also miss the October launch as well, but DICE was quick to squash that piece of misinformation.

You know, and maybe this is just crazy talk here, it is okay to delay the release of Battlefield V. Maybe give it some more...
