Outbound Release Moved to May 14

A one month delay.

Outbound's release has moved from April 23 to May 14 as the teams at Silver Lining Interactive and Square Glade Games need some more time for polish. Square Glade says that they "identified specific bumps on the virtual road that require immediate attention" following a recent demo release.

Console Release of ICARUS Delayed by One Month

A statement was shared by the devs.

GRIP Studios announced a bit of a delay for Icarus: Console Edition. Originally, the game was set to be released on February 26. Now, Icarus will instead be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 26.

The studio says that they needed more time "to further refine the game's experience on consoles, rather than launch it with these known issues." The full statement shared with the community can be read below....

The Vikings need more time to prepare for battle.

Developer Arctic Hazard and publisher Tripwire Presents just announced a bit of a delay for Norse: Oath of Blood. This Viking's themed turn-based tactical title has been pushed back by just two weeks, from its original February 3rd release to a February 17th release date on PC. Battlefield 1 Season 1 Extended as Season 2 Delayed Until February 17th

Some new content will be added to extend Season 1 a bit.

The teams that make up Battlefield Studios just shared a new update for the Battlefield 6 community. There is a bit of good news and a bit of bad news in this one. The bad news is that Season 2 for Battlefield 6 has been delayed. Instead of releasing on January 20th, Battlefield 6 Season 2 will now launch on February 17th. A couple of additional months for polish, game polish.

IO Interactive announced that their James Bond game, 007 First Light, is delayed. Instead of releasing on March 27, 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, 007 First Light will instead release on May 27, 2025.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Delayed Until Late 2026

Expected.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed once more. Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two, says that Rockstar Games needs "some additional time to finish the game with the high level of polish players expect and deserve."

The new release date set for Grand Theft Auto 6 is November 19, 2026. This date is still, as far as anybody knows, only for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release of the game. There has been no PC release even announced.

Here's a quick one for those of you waiting for the Early Access release of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. The game's release into Steam Early Access has been pushed back slightly from October 23rd to its new release date of November 19th.

Plus two other Indies announce delays due to Silksong.

The anticipated "roguelike nightmare slot machine game" called CloverPit, has been delayed. The delay pushes the game's release to September 26, 2025, and was done to avoid being consumed by the September 4th release of Hollow Knight: Silksong.

A bit of sad news today out of Techland. The studio says that they have decided to delay the release of Dying Light: The Beast by four weeks. This moves the game's release from August 22, 2025 to September 19, 2025.

Bungie officially delayed Marathon. Originally slated to release on September 23, 2025, Marathon now no longer has a release date.
