    Hitman Developer IO Interactive is Opening Second Studio


    Hitman 2 developer IO Interactive is opening a second studio that will allow the developer to focus on Hitman and new franchises.

    Earlier today, IO Interactive announced that they are opening a new studio in Malmö, Sweden. This new studio will help the main studio with ongoing development of the Hitman series, including Hitman 2. It will also allow the studio the freedom to work on new franchises for the future.     A new trailer for Left Alive was released today courtesy of Square Enix. The trailer is simply entitled "The Garmoniyan Invasion" and gives us a look at the Garmoniyan invasion of Novo Slava.

    Final Fantasy X and XII Coming Soon to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One

    Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will be released on the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One this April. Specifically, Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster is out on April 16. On April 30 you will get to pick up Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age.

    That's kind of all there is to say about those games. They've been released on multiple platforms now in one way or another. It's good to see them finally reaching the Nintendo platform as well as the Xbox One.

    The Beginning of the End for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Kicks Off Today


    With today's release of patch 4.5 for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, players are now at the end of the road for Stormblood's storyline. This patch effectively marks the "beginning of the end" in the lead up to the next expansion, Shadowbringers.

    Today's patch, entitled A Requiem for Heroes, brings about a bunch of new content for players of all skill sets. It adds in the third and final chapter in the Return to Ivalice Alliance Raid series, adds new main scenario quests, adds more challenging trials, and more.

    Come January 8, the 4.5 update for Final Fantasy XV: Stormblood will be released and with it will come the big ol finale to the Stormblood storyline. Not only that, but this two-part patch will set the stage for the upcoming Shadowbringers expansion that is slated for a vague release date of Summer 2019.

    Square Enix delivered a new trailer for Left Alive today. The trailer, entitled "Find a Way to Survive," shows how you can reply on basic instincts to "forge your own paths to survival by utilizing stealth mechanics, crafting, traps, and more."
