All this comes just eight days away from release.
The sci-fi horror action game The Callisto Protocol is just eight days away from its planned December 2 release. Up until just a short time ago, we had no information regarding what sort of PC hardware you would need to even run the game. Now, developer Striking Distance Studios not only shared those minimum and recommended PC system requirements, but they also added in a little something extra.
That "little something...

The Callisto Protocol to Lock Several Death Scenes Behind a Season Pass
The future of gaming is now.
The content of the Season Pass for The Callisto Protocol was revealed today by developer Striking Distance Studios. Included in the pass are no fewer than 13 additional death animations. Obviously those added death animations aren't the only thing included in the Season Pass, but the fact that these are included at all is certainly intriguing.
The contents of the Season Pass were first revealed on the Steam page for The Callisto Protocol. This... -

EA's College Football Game Pushed to Summer 2024
EA Sports College Football is still a long way away.
EA says that their anticipated release of EA Sports College Football will not be released until Summer 2024 at the earliest. This is the same College Football title that was announced in early 2021.

Steam's Big Autumn Sale is Now Live
I'm seeing games at 50%, 75%, and even 90% off during this sale.
How would you like to pick up the classic version of XIII for about the cost of a big fountain drink? You can do that right now, because XIII is only $1.49 (USD) during the Steam Autumn Sale.
From right now (November 22nd) through to November 29 at 10AM (PT), you can enjoy the fact that while your stomach may get bigger from eating big Thanksgiving meals, your wallets will get far slimmer. The Steam Autumn... -

Call of Duty Players Discover a Lot of Really Broken Movement Tech
Players are running around like the Fast Zombies from Half-Life 2.
Every new Call of Duty release brings with it new experiences, new content, and new exploits to discover. The most recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 are certainly no exceptions. With a player base that could easily be several million large, due to strong sales and the freely offered Warzone 2.0, it almost seems inevitable that some fresh exploits would be discovered.

Microsoft Offers Sony a 10 Year Deal to Keep Call of Duty on PlayStation
The reveal comes as the Microsoft-Activision deal faces harsh scrutiny.
The $69 billion (USD) deal that would see Microsoft acquire Activision Blizzard is still very much the focus of intense scrutiny from several of the world's regulation authorities. Apparently, one of the big issues that this regulators have is with the idea that Microsoft will pull several long-running multi-platform titles from those non-Microsoft platforms. Obviously, the Call of Duty franchise is one of the... -

Ubisoft Confirms Return to Steam with Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Ubisoft to return to Steam's "unrealistic" distribution model.
Ubisoft is returning to Steam after they took their ball and went home about two years ago. In 2019, Ubisoft decided to stop releasing their games through Steam, instead opting to sell their PC releases exclusively through Ubisoft Connect (formerly Uplay) and the Epic Games Store. In the same year, Ubisoft vice president for partnerships and revenues, Chris Early, said that Steam's distribution model was "unrealistic."... -

Rockstar is OK with Roleplay Servers but Says No to NFTs
Rockstar gives a non-legally binding blessing to GTA roleplay servers, but takes a hard stance against NFTs.
At the trail end of last week, Rockstar Games issued a clarifying statement on what they feel is and is not permitted on GTA Online roleplay (RP) servers.
As part of their remarks, Rockstar seems to have given their blessing for those popular third-party roleplay servers to keep existing within GTA Online. It is in these servers where people "roleplay"... -
