Reboots are coming, so long as these translations are accurate.

Team Ninja president Fumihiko Yasuda spoke recently at a panel held at the G-Star conference in Busan, South Korea. According to remarks made during the panel, Yasuda seemingly announced that there are reboots coming for both Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. No additional details were shared, except that Yasuda wants to get fans some more news "as soon as possible."

The statements, as relayed by VGC (via Ruliweb) were accompanied by a slide shown off during the panel. The images on the slide show both of the aforementioned series along with the headline "The future of Team Ninja - Reboot of popular series" in Japanese.

Koei Tecmo, the parent company of Team Ninja, says that they "have nothing to announce at this time" when contacted for comment.

Yasuda has repeatedly voiced his desire to bring back the Ninja Gaiden series. The last game was released ten years ago with Ninja Gaiden 3. He has served as the director for Nioh and Nioh 2 in addition to directing that third Ninja Gaiden title.
