Though some argue that Mortal Kombat 1 should have shipped with cross-play, it will at least be added to the game soon. NetherRealm Studios say that they are readying cross-play support and hope to have the update ready for February 2024. Xbox finally makes the jump to VR! Well, sort of...
Roughly a year after it was announced, Xbox Cloud Gaming is now finally available on Meta Quest VR headsets. According to a new Xbox Wire announcement, those with Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro headsets can now access the Xbox Cloud Gaming app. Though it should be noted that the app is currently only in beta.

Insomniac Games was Hacked by Ransomware Group
The Spider-Man 2 developer was hit by a ransomware group.
A ransomware group called Rhysida claims to have gained access to Insomniac Games and stolen internal data. Some of this stolen data is reportedly information about the studio's upcoming Wolverine game and private staff information such as passports.
