Spread some holiday cheer with the help of a tank.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, what better way to spend part of them than by engaging in a little virtual war with friends and loved ones. DICE seems to have that same idea because they're kicking off a new in-game event for Battlefield 2042 on December 12 that they're calling Holiday Protocol.

This Holiday Protocol will run for four weeks (December 12, 2023 - January 9, 2024) and will feature four different holiday-themed game modes spread out across those four weeks. Weekly rewards will be earnable through playing each week. Those that simply log into Battlefield 2042 during Weeks 2, 3, and 4 will also earn additional login rewards.

• Week 1 (December 12 - 19): Rapid Strike on 5 maps
• Week 2 (December 19 - 26): Attack of the Elves on 8 maps
• Week 3 (December 26 - January 2, 2024): Infantry Conquest Chaos on 6 maps
• Week 4 (January 2 - 9): Pondhawk Superiority on 4 maps

On top of all that, the Battlefield Portal will have its own limited-time weekly experiences that players are more than welcome to check out as well!

Based on the little teaser trailer shared on social media, Pondhawk Superiority looks like it's going to be all kinds of crazy, stupid fun.
