Sega Considering More PC Ports After Success of Persona 4 Golden

Persona 4 Golden and other titles are doing well on PC.

Sega says that their recent PC ports of some rather high-profile games have proven to be a great success for the company. Sales of games like Persona 4 Golden, Yakuza 0, and even Catherine have been so successful that Sega is considering bringing more games over to the PC platform. The biggest push for Sega seems to be the surprise success of Persona 4 Golden above all else.

Sega president Haruki Satomi and senior...

Confirmed after a short bout as a rumor.

Microsoft confirmed the short-lived rumor that Halo Infinite would have free multiplayer. Valve Cracks Down on Using VPNs to Buy Games Cheaper

This should hopefully lead to more fair regional pricing.

For several years now, users were able to make use of a loophole that allowed them to buy games for cheaper if purchased from certain regions. Users were able to trick Steam into thinking they lived in one region where a price of a game was more favorable to them due to exchange rates. This had the unfortunate side-effect of developers and publishers having to increase prices in these regions to put a stop to those using VPNs...

OtherSide Entertainment Reacquires System Shock 3 Publishing Rights

Back in December, Starbreeze suffered a real one-two punch. They had filed for reconstruction and then days later their offices were raided by Swedish authorities over suspicions of insider trading. This was about a month after the release of the ill-received Overkill's The Walking Dead, a mediocre game that never managed to pick up much of a fanbase at any point.

Given the company's issues, a question was raised about whether or not they would still hold on to the publishing...

Metro Exodus Preload Available on Steam but Not on Epic Games Store

Goodness, this launch of Metro Exodus has been a bit wild. The other day we saw from Deep Silver's technical support that there wouldn't be any preload of the game through Steam. So, we assumed that meant there would instead be a preload period on the Epic Games Store, right? Well, no. We were wrong. To be fair, that response from Deep...
