TikTok Ban Signed Into Law by President Biden

Owner ByteDance has 270 days to sell off TikTok.

On April 24, President Joe Biden signed a foreign aid package that also included a bill that could ban TikTok in the United States. This ban can only be averted if the China-based company that owns TikTok, ByteDance, sells off the popular social media app before the 270 day time limit is up.

This gives ByteDance until January 19, 2025 to sell TikTok. An additional 90 day extension could be offered by President Biden if...

Red Dead Redemption Remaster Update 1.03 Adds 60FPS Option

But only for the PlayStation 5.

The remaster of Red Dead Redemption was released for PlayStation 4 back in August. While the release seemed largely fine (leagues better than the GTA Trilogy release at least), one of the biggest complaints from fans is the fact that there was no 60FPS option available anywhere.

Though technically a PlayStation 4 title, the remastered Red Dead Redemption release can be played on PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility. Even on the...

    Of course, people are upset.

Payday 3 Devs Suggest Matchmaking is Now Fixed

This good news comes ahead of a major game update.

The launch of Payday 3 was a complete and total disaster for developer Starbreeze Studios. Error messages, bad PlayStation 5 builds, and countless server issues ensured that nearly nobody was able to play Payday 3 for days after its launch. It got so bad that the Starbreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren
tweeted out an apology to everyone.

Starbreeze now says that the matchmaking issues have finally been fixed. This...

  • Review: Starfield

    Review: Starfield

A safe, if not soulless, journey through the cosmos.

Bethesda Game Studios releases are safe. They are familiar. You know almost exactly what to expect when a major new release from them rolls around. They instill a feeling of "I know this game won't be groundbreaking, but I know I'll have fun." Yes, there are some obvious differences, but the heart of each Bethesda game is almost universally the same. The recent release of Starfield is no different. To put it bluntly: Starfiel...

They're offering a flavor that's to die for. Get it? Do you get it?

G FUEL announces a new collaboration with Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th is a big franchise that had a decent asymmetrical multiplayer game at one point, so this seems at least tangentially related to gaming. Also, gamers drink G FUEL. I drink G FUEL and I play games. See? Full circle.
