What is your opinion about console skins?

Lots of people recommend to custom design your gaming consoles like XBOX, PS or PC and many doesn't. Like if you're are a gaming console holder then you definitely don't want to get bored with it. That's why the designing stuffs or custom skins are made. I personally like to give my console a brutal look by buying these xbox one x custom skin. I want to know what you guys think about this and what are your opinions?
