Bobby Kotick has been subpoenaed.

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has launched an investigation into Activision Blizzard. This comes after the state of California sued Activision Blizzard in July over the aforementioned allegations, and then later expanded...

Battlefield 2042 is Delayed

Looks like the rumors were true.

F's in the chat, boys. It looks like Battlefield 2042 has been delayed. Thankfully, the delay isn't as quite as long as some other titles that have recently been delayed.

Battlefield 2042 will now be released on November 19, 2021. The original release date was set for October 22, 2021. So, it's about a month delay. It's really not that bad in the grand scheme of things.

DICE and EA made the delay announcement just minutes ago...

Epic vs. Apple Verdict is a Huge Win for Apple

Epic really came away from this one empty-handed.

The judge in the Epic vs. Apple lawsuit has finally issued a ruling. Despite what a number of outlets seem to be saying, today's ruling really isn't a win for Epic Games. In fact, it's more of a win for Apple when you take everything into account.

In short, Epic lost on all but one count. Epic had wanted the judge to say that Apple was a monopoly, forcing it to lower its fees to below the industry standard 30% cut. Neither...

Tripwire President John Gibson Steps Down After Voicing Support of Texas Abortion Law

He fucked around and found out.

This weekend, the president and co-founder of Tripwire Interactive, John Gibson, made some rather idiotic remarks on Twitter. Gibson took to the social media platform to voice his support for the recent abortion ban in Texas, a ban that effectively takes away basic rights from women throughout the state. He also voiced his support for the Supreme Court of the United States for giving the go-ahead for that draconian ban to take place.

According to a report from Bloomberg, those under the age of 18 will only be allowed to game for one hour between...

It seems as though there was another benefit not documented in the changelog. The tech wizards at Digital Foundry discovered that select titles saw...

Some of the major points in this update include a fix for an exploit that let players impersonate other Steam accounts, disabling player sprays by default, and some changes to the map cp_snakewater_final1.

  • Poll: Should Next-Gen Upgrades be Free?
    by Shawn Zipay
Making the jump from PS4 to PS5? Well, ya gotta pay.

This seems to be a bit of a hot topic lately. Imagine you've owned a PlayStation 4 and amassed quite the game collection. Suddenly, you get a shiny new PlayStation 5. We don't know how or why and we don't want to know. The fact is: You got one. It's yours. Now, those games you've been enjoying on the PlayStation 4 have special PlayStation5 upgrades, but the problem is, you gotta pay.

Want to play at higher resolutions?...
Yes, the upgrades should be free!
