Valve Announces Counter-Strike 2

Valve's massively popular FPS gets an engine upgrade and a test starting today.

Valve officially announced Counter-Strike 2 today after weeks of teases, speculation, and rumors. The developer calls this "the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike's history" and I'm inclined to believe it.

    Mass Layoffs Hit Twitch and Gamur Group

    The Twitch layoffs are just a part of the more than 9,000 positions eliminated from Amazon today.

    On Monday, Amazon announced plans to cut another 9,000 positions from areas including Amazon Web Services (AWS), human resources, advertising, and Twitch.     Actor Lance Reddick has passed away at the age of 60. The initial report came from TMZ but was later corroborated by several other media outlets.     The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Release Set for August

    A technical playtest is also set to arrive before the release of the full game.
