Rumors about the next Fortnite Festival musician started to pick up over the weekend, with many suggesting that the next artist to grace the main stage was none other than Billie Eilish. It was none other than Eilish herself that confirmed the rumors to be true. The artist posted on her personal social media accounts an image of her Fortnite character and a date of April 23, 2024.

This means that starting tomorrow, Eilish will be added to Fortnite Festival. No other details were shared, but a few educated guesses can be made about what Eilish's addition to Fortnite Festival will entail. When Lady Gaga was recently featured, there was a skin, various smaller cosmetics, and several of her songs added to the Fortnite Festival mode. These items were either unlockable through a Fortnite Festival-specific "battle" pass or were just outright available to purchase from the in-game store.

Over the weekend, there was a pretty big but unsubstantiated leak that said Eilish was coming soon to Fortnite. Included in that same leak were other artists such as Metallica, Karol G, and Snoop Dogg. Given that Eilish is now confirmed for Fortnite Festival, it could be that the rumor is true and we will actually see these other artists added in the weeks and months ahead.

Billie Eilish has won numerous awards including multiple Academy Awards for "No Time to Die" and "What Was I Made For?," along with several Billboard Music Awards, Brit Awards, Golden Globe Awards, nine Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, and many others. Eilish's third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, will be released on May 17, 2024.
