The DirectX developer blog was updated with details on a project that they're calling DirectStorage. This will be a new feature coming to those who have NVMe SSDs on their Windows' machines. With this system, DirectStorage supported games will have "vastly reduced load times." The devs at DirectX are currently working with partners in order to finish the API for DirectStorage.

Apple Terminates Epic Games Developer Account
This is not a termination of accounts related to Unreal Engine devs.
Today, Apple followed through with part of their threat that they would terminate Epic Games' developer account. This is not the same as their threat to terminate the accounts of all Unreal Engine developers. That specific case was shot down in court earlier this week. However, that ruling still left the door open for Apple to terminate the account specifically related to Epic Games, the one used by Fortnite.
