Resident Evil Village Releasing in May

Ethan Winters is back in action.

Capcom just wrapped their special Resident Evil Showcase livestream a few moments ago. Among the big reveals this evening was a release date for Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7, 2021 for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. These will be joined by the newly announced last-gen console versions of the game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Valve Boss Says Company Still Has Games in Development

These are games that the company are "going to be announcing."

In an interview with New Zealand's 1 News, Valve head honcho Gabe Newell said that his company is still very much in the business of developing games. Though he refused to talk specifically about Citadel or Half-Life 3, Newell did give some good news to fans that are interested in Valve's game offerings.

He says that Valve "definitely have games in development that we're going to be announcing."...
 

Valve and Other PC Publishers Fined by EU Commission

The issue revolves around the companies "geo-blocking" various games.

The European Commission has fined Valve and five publishers a combined total of €7.8 million for a breaching of antitrust rules. The other publishers in question include Bandai Namco, Capcom, Focus Home Interactive, Koch Media, and ZeniMax.     Former Employee Files Lawsuit Against Telltale for Breaking Labor Laws

    The recent and very sudden closure of Telltale left many in the gaming industry saddened. Fans were sad because it their favorite franchises may never be finished or given a sequel. More importantly though, hundreds of employees were let go without advance warning and without severance pay.

    This is a big "no-no" when it comes to little things like "laws."

    A former employee of Telltale is now suing the company in a class-action lawsuit. Polygon reports that the lawsuit was filed in a federal court in San Francisco on Monday. It was submitted by Vernie Roberts on behalf of himself and the other workers that were laid off this past Friday.     It looks like Ocelot a mysterious masked man was introduced this weekend to Death Stranding.
