It released in late 2015 alongside the original Steam Machine. While it was made for use with those Steam Machines, you could use it on PC or a Steam Link without any issue. It wasn't a terrible device, once you got over the awkward...

Valve Announces a New Steam Machine

The studio partnered with several vendors, each coming out with their own versions of the Steam Machine. They often featured different hardware configurations but so long as they included Valve's small list of requirements, they were given the Steam Machine branding.

The first batch of Steam Machines came out in late 2015 and cost anywhere...

Destiny 2 Causes $204 Million 'Impairment Loss' for Sony

Destiny 2 failed to hit several targets.

More and more it sure looks like it was a bad idea from Sony to acquire Destiny developer Bungie. In Sony's latest financial report (PDF link), they directly attribute a 31.5 billion yen (roughly $204 million USD) "impairment loss" to Destiny 2. Specifically, this impairment loss is due to Destiny 2 failing to hit sales milestones as well as declining user engagement.

The impairment was significant enough to bring down...

Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
