Review: Persona 5 Royal

A master class in improving upon what is already great.

In September 2016, the original release of Persona 5 made its debut in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It eventually had its Western market debut in April 2017. The game was developed by P-Studio and published in North America by Atlus. Despite a few minor issues, it was largely regarded as a fantastic JRPG with excellent art, an intriguing cast of characters, enjoyable gameplay, and even a rad soundtrack. Persona...

We also learned today that Sony is putting a lot of effort into their...

Once the dust settled on the whirlwind weekend of February 8-9, 2020, the top number saw over 901,000 concurrent players enjoying CS:GO at one time. This had beaten a record...

E3 2020 Cancelled as Covid-19 Declared Global Pandemic

Wait, am I out of a job now?

Earlier today, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (Covid-19) a pandemic. Think of a pandemic as an epidemic that has a much greater reach. Epidemics could be considered to be localized to just a few places in the world. Pandemics signify that there is a global impact. For a while, Covid-19 was still considered an epidemic because it was largely contained to areas of China and mostly to those that travel. As the virus continues...

  • Feminist Frequency Creator Anita Sarkeesian Driven From Home After Death Threats and Abuse

Anita Sarkeesian is the creator of Feminist Frequency's "Tropes vs Women in Video Games." Perhaps you've heard of it? • Microsoft to Sell Stand-Alone Kinect for $150 in October

Microsoft to Sell Stand-Alone Kinect for $150 in October

So, if I did the math correctly here, buying an Xbox One without a Kinect is $400 (USD). If you later decide that you want the Kinect, that will run another $150. Combined, that is $550, which is somehow $50 more than if you bought the Xbox One bundled with a Kinect in the first place! Oh Microsoft, you crafty devils you!
