Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Valve announced today that Steam has surpassed 65 million total user accounts. That is a 30% increase in growth over the previous 12 months.
Looking ahead to 2014, Valve looks to expand Steam's services and offerings to gamers and developers by holding the Steam Developer Days in Seattle, WA this January and rolling out the recently announced Steam Machines with a variety of hardware partners later in the year. "The main goal of Steam has always been to increase the quality of the user's experience by reducing the distance between content creators an

  • FXAA Ruins Texture Quality in Battlefield 4

FXAA Ruins Texture Quality in Battlefield 4

We already know how FXAA use tends to blur textures in games while simultaneously serving as a quick method of AA. However, it seems as though FXAA use in Battlefield 4 blurs textures more noticeably than in any other game.

HardOCP suggest turning the "Antialiasing Post" setting to "Off" in order to fix the blurred texture issue. The other AA settings in the game should be ok to adjust to your own tastes, just leave Antialiasing Post "off."

Microsoft Must Really Like the 'Xbox Huge' Meme

So, Microsoft made another giant Xbox, this time it's a giant Xbox One. Unlike the previous large console of theirs, there is only one of this One and it's in Vancouver. O Canada, what are you doing up there? It's said to be 40 feet long and 20 feet wide. Microsoft has hinted that the console will "unlock" after people "pledge" their gamertags and/or souls. Gamers can pledge their tags in person, online, or from the Xbox 360 dashboard. I'm going assume this is for residents of Canada only, but I have no idea. Prizes include Xbox One consoles and a trip ...

First Titanfall is Exclusive to Xbox and PC, Vince Zampella is Not Happy

Sorry hopeful PlayStation 4 owners, it looks as though Titanfall from Respawn Entertainment won't be headed to your platform. EA has stated that the game will remain exclusive to the PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One for the entirety of its life.

EA CFO, Blake Jorgensen, said this during today's financial call for EA.
"In the case of Titanfall, it's a brand new IP and it's exclusive only for the life of the title on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and PC."
Before you get upset with Respawn, here is what Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella had to say ...
