Sony Delays PlayStation 5 Event Due to Protests

PlayStation 5 games will have to wait a big longer.

Sony has just announced that they are postponing the PlayStation 5 event that was scheduled for June 4. The event has been postponed for obvious reasons. Those reasons, for those unaware, are the numerous ever ongoing protests against racism and cops that believe they have a license to kill.

These protests started following the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. However, that event was merely...

The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

Steam Summer Sale 2020 Dates Leaked

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

  • Rumor: First-Person View for Cars and On Foot for Grand Theft Auto V is Coming

According to a post on the GTAforums, Rockstar may have briefly posted some information about what fans can expect in the transition from last-gen to current-gen consoles for Grand Theft Auto V.

A user there allegedly grabbed the following image from a Rockstar support page.

That page has since been pulled down. However, a web cache of the page exists and it (at least for now) still works just fine. It shows nearly identical information to what was...

Concept Trailer that Led to P.T. (Silent Hills) from Tokyo Game Show 2014

Last night, Konami also held a small show for P.T. (Playable Teaser). During which they showed off that concept trailer that eventually led to the creation of P.T., which itself is a teaser for Silent Hills.

As with the footage for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, this is a fan upload from the presentation streamed live from Tokyo Game Show 2014. It is unknown whether or not Konami will release any direct-feed footage for this....

  • Final Fantasy XIII is Coming to Steam

Final Fantasy XIII is Coming to Steam

Granted, while the Final Fantasy XIII series of games may not be the best out there, the fact that it's coming to Steam is actually huge news here. This could very well mark the beginning of other current and future Final Fantasy games appearing on PC and perhaps coming the same day and date as the console counter-parts. Keep those fingers crossed.

The first game coming to PC is Final Fantasy XIII for just $15.99 (USD) or $14.39 if you pre-order before October 9. Coincidentally,...

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - 2014 Tokyo Game Show Trailer

A fan has taken the time to not only upload the TGS 2014 trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but they also included English subtitles.

This is not an official release from Konami and was recorded from the live stream that Konami put on last night for The Phantom Pain. The quality is considerably lower than any direct feed video release would be but since Konami hasn't released that yet, we'll have to make do with this.
