Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

The Culling - Battle Royale without the Pretense of Zombies

The Culling is what happens when a team sees the popularity of the non-zombie modes in games like H1Z1 and develop an entire stand alone game around it. So yes, The Culling is a big ol battle royale style of game that finds 16 players facing off against each other.
Jump into a remote island paradise and join a 16-player battle for supremacy as you explore, scavenge items, craft weapons, and build traps that will enable you to slay your fellow contestants and emerge victorious before the end of the round. Only with cunning, skill and a little luck will y

  • Looking Ahead: 2016's Most Anticipated Video Games

Looking Ahead: 2016's Most Anticipated Video Games

2015 is dead and over with. Hell, we're already a month deep into 2016 at this point. Even still, we have about 11 months of game releases to look forward to. What better time than right now to put up a quick entry about what games I'm looking forward to in 2016? These all aren't games that I'm like dying to play. These are a mix of games that I'm super excited to play and also some that I'm merely interested in seeing how they turn out for one reason or another. Just for the hell of it, I'll even include the games that came out in January since I'm so terr...

  • Lost Journey Out on iOS Courtesy of Asia

Lost Journey Out on iOS Courtesy of Asia

Asia makes some pretty good products. One of them is Lost Journey, a new iOS game from SoulGame, which is a game development studio based in Asia. See how I went full circle there? Lost Journey has already won some awards and received some award nominations which include 2014's "First Prize of Microsoft Imagine Cup" and a nomination for "Best China IndiePlay game" in 2015.

It's out now on iOS here in the States, so you should probably go check it out. It's only $0.99 (USD) from the Apple App Store. It looks like a fun puzzle/platform game with a unique twist...

  • "Haunted" and "House" Focus of Trademark Legal Battle Between Atari and Hazy Dreams of Infinity

Could we maybe go like one damn week in 2016 without having to waste time on these idiotic trademark legal battles? This time it's Atari and Hazy Dreams of Infinity who are about to go toe to toe at an upcoming United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) hearing (February 26). All of it will be over the words "Haunted" and "House."

Atari apparently holds a trademark for those words due to some old Haunted House games, the first of which seems to have come out in the early 80s. It was later revamped in 2010, with a new installment coming in...

  • New Invention Elite Skill Added to RuneScape

New Invention Elite Skill Added to RuneScape

Jagex Games Studio added the new "Invention" skill today in RuneScape. It is apparently the game's "first Elite Skill." Sounds fancy!
Invention allows high-level players to augment and customize existing weapons and armor with a wide selection of perks. This new skill tier differs from those long established in RuneScape, as Invention is not immediately unlocked for players. Instead, this skill must be earned by reaching level 80 in other skills, namely Smithing, Crafting and Divination. The introduction of Invention makes it possible for players to
