The Outlast Trials proves that survival horror can be more fun with friends.

The Outlast Trials is a four-player PvE game taking place in the Cold War era. The game's opening moments and lore paint a gruesome and wicked scene that will be familiar to series veterans but disquieting to those new to the Outlast universe. Players work their way through a series of experiments, each of which plays out on various large maps like a police station, a courthouse, a carnival, and more. The g...

TikTok Ban Signed Into Law by President Biden

Owner ByteDance has 270 days to sell off TikTok.

On April 24, President Joe Biden signed a foreign aid package that also included a bill that could ban TikTok in the United States. This ban can only be averted if the China-based company that owns TikTok, ByteDance, sells off the popular social media app before the 270 day time limit is up.

This gives ByteDance until January 19, 2025 to sell TikTok. An additional 90 day extension could be offered by President Biden if...

"EA Sports is a cultural barometer to know what's going on in sports at the moment," said Rousey. "As a gamer myself, it's pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress. I'm really happy to be involved with it." EA SPORTS UFC 2 takes the franchise's stunning ch

Early SteamOS Gaming Performance 'Significantly Worse' Than Windows

Ars Technica recently put SteamOS through its paces and found that Valve's new operating system performs "significantly worse" than Windows when it comes to playing games. That seems like a pretty big issue since the thing you're going to be doing the most on SteamOS is playing games. While SteamOS is currently the new kid in town, it still doesn't mean it shouldn't be compared to the most widely used operating system in use by a vast majority of Steam users. Ars found that the performance gap between...

Payday 2 Moderators Revolt Against Overkill and Terrible Microtransactions

Overkill recently decided that they wanted Payday 2 to be a pay to win game. Some users have even suggested contacting the FTC over Overkill's business practices.

In fact, the moderators of the Steam Community section for Payday 2 are also quite upset. So much so that they have announced...
