MLB The Show is No Longer a PlayStation Exclusive

Soon, MLB The Show will be available on more than just Sony's platforms.

It has just been announced that starting as soon as 2021's release, MLB The Show will no longer be a PlayStation platform exclusive. Though other platforms have not yet been specified, both the official Nintendo and Xbox Twitter accounts were quick to comment on this new development.

For the past dozen or so years, MLB The Show has been developed by San Diego Studio, a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Sony has also had the exclusive rights to develop and publish...

The first project for the new Cloud Chamber is the next entry in the BioShock series.

2K just announced today that they have opened up a new game development studio under their publishing umbrella. The new studio is called Cloud Chamber and will have not one but two different locations for their operations. The team will operate both out of 2K's San Francisco Bay Area HQ in Novato, CA in addition to a new location in Montreal, Quebec. This marks the first Canadian office for 2K.

The other big surprise today is the fact that Cloud Chamber has...

DICE Nerfed the TTK Yet Again in Battlefield V

Almost one year later and DICE is repeating the same exact mistakes.

Back on December 12, 2018, DICE decided to adjust the TTK (Time To Kill) for weapons in Battlefield V. A lot of the changes made weapons a fair bit less effective at actually taking out enemies. DICE said that they found that their "wider player base was dying too fast." That is to say, the shorter TTK wasn't too friendly for new players. To say that the core Battlefield community hated the changes is probably a massive understatement.

So, DICE tried to find a compromise...

Resident Evil 3 Remake Cover Art Leaked

Features a look at Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis.

We seem to have yet another leak on our hands today. This time it's for the still not officially announced remake of Resident Evil 3. It seems as though the cover art for this totally not real game was found on the servers for the PlayStation Store.

A games tracker feature on Gamstat quickly embeded the images from the PlayStation Store and thus made them visible publicly. Since then the images were pulled from being publicly accessible on the PlayStation Store. It's a good thing Gematsu saved the...

  • Week in Review: INSIDE, Necropolis, and Battlefield 1 Alpha (July 10-16, 2016)

This week in review will be a quick and dirty one, just like you like it. I'll be taking a quick trip through INSIDE, Necropolis, and offering my thoughts on the Battlefield 1 alpha as it comes to a close.

    INSIDE

INSIDE is the latest game from Limbo developers, Playdead. Playdead played to their strengths in Inside, offering compelling gameplay, puzzles, a visually outstanding experience, and truly impressive audio. True to their Limbo roots, the story in Inside is wide open to interpretation, which may upset those who enjoy a game with a...

  • Florida Man Fires Gun at Pokemon Go Players; Texas Man Threatens Pokemon Go Players

A man in Florida opened fire on a car with two Pokemon Go players inside. The unidentified man woke up around 1:30AM after hearing a noise outside. He reportedly saw a car with its brake lights on in the street in front of his house. The man grabbed his gun and went outside at which point he says he heard someone ask, "did you get anything?" The man then reportedly stepped in front of the car and pointed his gun at the two teens that were inside. He told the teens not to move. The report says that the vehicle then sped past the man at which point he began to...

A new Trophy listing for Dead Rising on the PlayStation 4 popped up this past week on Exophase. Normally, this wouldn't be anything to write home about but Dead Rising for the PlayStation 4 hasn't even been announced yet.

Another surprise reveal on Exophase was the appearance of PS4 Trophies for a little game called Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

Are we looking at remastered versions of these games coming soon, or something else? I guess we'll find out soon....

Another "big winner" of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skin betting, PhantomL0rd, has been found to potentially be involved in bet rigging and undisclosed partial ownership of CSGOShuffle, yet another skin betting website. These are the accusations being thrown out by Richard Lewis, a noted esports journalist, after he obtained chat logs between PhantomL0rd and a person named Joris. Joris appears to be the person that coded the main functions on CSGOShuffle. These chat logs were provided to Lewis from an anonymous hacker. The hacker confessed that he had plan...

  • Watch the Republican and Democratic National Conventions on Twitch Because You Hate Yourself

Twitch is going to stream both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions to audiences this year. Not only that, but you can stream the Conventions to your own stream while providing your own commentary to your community. If you know anything about the absolute horrendous cesspool of hell that the Twitch chat can end up being for large events, you'll understand why this is already a bad idea to begin with. Let's throw in politics on top of it, a topic that most streamers ban from their chats to begin with, for obvious reasons, and you'll begin to un...
