Without a doubt, the game that stole the show tonight at VGX 2013 was No Man's Sky from Hello Games. Everything is procedurally generated and will take you from the depths of the ocean to the stars in the sky.
This game promises to allow players to visit any star they see, land on any planet circling those stars, and go anywhere your heart desires.

Reminder and PSA: VGX Video Game Awards are Tonight - Save on VGX Nominees at Steam
The re-branded VGAs are now called VGX. It airs tonight at 6PM (ET) and will be live streamed on the web if you don't get SpikeTV. It will be co-hosted by Geoff Keighley and Joel McHale.
Naturally, most people find this award show to be a bunch of nonsense, but they usually include a number of new and exclusive trailers for upcoming games. Once it goes live, we'll probably have another news post about it with an embedded stream for your enjoyment.
