In comparison to the also just announced $1,000 Valve Index, these two Oculus headsets start at $400 (or $399 if you want to be specific), and that's the price for the full package on both of these.

    Oculus Announces Wireless Oculus Quest VR System for $399 Plus New Star Wars VR Game

    During the Oculus Connect 5 keynote earlier today, Oculus VR announced the Oculus Quest. The Oculus Quest is an "all-in-one VR gaming system" that allows players to experience six degrees of freedom, Touch controllers, and a price tag of $399 (USD).

    Unlike the Oculus Rift, the Oculus Quest does not need to connect to a PC to operate. There are no sensors to hang up either. Instead, the Quest utilizes a technology that they're calling Oculus Insight.
