    Sony to Skip E3 2019

Sony will not be at E3 2019. This surprising news was confirmed today from a press release sent out by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the group that organizes and runs E3 each year. This means that Sony will not have a traditional pre-show conference. This also means that Sony will not have a booth at E3 2019. Sony is the latest of the "Big 3" to ditch the annual conference. Out of Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft only the last one remains. Nintendo gave up on the traditional E3 shows some years back, instead opting for their pre-recorded Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse videos. EA also put a far lesser emphasis in recent yea...

48 Minutes of Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay

Back at E3, members of the press were shown off a bunch of gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red. That footage was not revealed to the public until today.

The footage is taken from an early build of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't even have a release date yet, so you're getting a look at something that is probably a year or more away from release still.

Babylon's Fall Announced by Square Enix and PlatinumGames

The duo of Square Enix and PlatinumGames announced Babylon's Fall for the PlayStation 4 and PC. This was actually announced at E3 last week but I am a terrible person and seemingly had this one slip under my radar.

You just read pretty much everything that has been revealed about the game so far. The only other thing we know is that it will be released at some point in 2019. If it doesn't come out in Autumn of 2019, then somebody somewhere screwed up royally.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 E3 Footage, Including HitRECord Announcement

This E3, Ubisoft showed off a fair bit more Beyond Good & Evil 2 footage. In addition, Ubisoft announced a partnership with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's creative platform called HitRECord. This partnership invites artists to create art, designs, radio ads, and even music that could be used in Beyond Good & Evil 2. Those items that are selected will be paid and credited for their work. If your work isn't accepted, you retain the rights to it. As it stands, HitRECord has $50,000 allocated to pay towards any contributors who have their work end up in the game.
