    The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Adds Free Friend Pass

    Double the players, double the scares?

    Bandai Namco announced today a couple of tasty features for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. First up is word that owners of the game now get a Free Friend's Pass. This will allow you to invite a friend to play the game with you even if they do not own the game themselves. This is said to be a limited time offer that is good only for a single playthrough on the same platform.

    Aliens: Fireteam Announced

    A new Aliens: Fireteam website has popped up announcing this upcoming co-op, third-person shooter set in the Aliens universe. The game is slated to be released on PC via Steam alongside the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This game will allow up to three friends to group up against enemies, presumably the titular aliens, in a fashion similar to Left 4 Dead.

  • The Sinking City Devs Claim Publisher Hacked Their Game and Uploaded it to Steam

    A tale of developer vs. publisher.

    This past Friday, The Sinking City was released on Steam seemingly without the consent of Frogwares, the game's developer. This was, at the time, the latest in the ongoing legal battle between Frogwares and publisher Nacon. Frogwares has been actively telling fans not to purchase the current Steam release of The Sinking City because Nacon put it up without permission.

    System Shock Remake Demo is Now Available

    Pre-orders are also live.

    Nightdive Studios has opened the doors for pre-orders on the System Shock remake that they've been working on. It can be pre-ordered right now through the Epic Games Store (affiliate link), GOG, and Steam for $44.99 (USD). The game is supposed to release at some point this Summer.

    Destiny 2 is Ditching Sunsetting

    Bungie just announced today that they are going to do away with one of their most controversial ideas: Sunsetting. Starting with Season 14, all new weapons will no longer have a "limited-time use" stamp placed on them. They can be upgraded indefinitely.

    Now expected to be released this August.

    New World, the upcoming MMO from Amazon Games, has been delayed twice already. It was first supposed to release in May 2020 but was then pushed back to an August 2020 release window.
