Rage 2: TerrorMania DLC Out in November

This will be the game's second expansion.

The second expansion for Rage 2 now has a firm release date. Players will get to "explore the twisted and cursed alternate reality of the wasteland, the Deadlands," on November 14. This is when Rage 2: TerrorMania will be released on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

This expansion includes "skeletal forces of darkness" that are looking to break free and take over the world. You know what? Sometimes games are allowed to have some super goofy stuff. Rage 2 already has a decent amount...

Fallout 76 Private Servers May not be Very Private

Fallout 1st may be a worse value than initially feared.

Yesterday, Bethesda announced and rolled out a new, paid service for Fallout 76. They are calling it Fallout 1st and for $13 a month or $100 for a year, players are able to enjoy features like private servers, unlimited storage for your crafting scrap, a tent, and some other bonuses.

As we noticed yesterday, fans are pretty upset about the paid service. For one, private servers were something that were promised even before the game was initially released last year. There was nothing to suggest...

Fallout 76 Locks Long-Awaited Private Worlds Behind Monthly Fee

The most fan requested feature will launch at $13 a month.

Fans have been requesting private worlds for Fallout 76 since before the game ever even launched. Game director Todd Howard even announced that they wanted to add private servers to the game all the way back in QuakeCon 2018. Along with the launch of private servers, Bethesda even said that you would be able to mod those servers.

When Fallout 76 launched back in late November 2018, private servers were nowhere to be found. They were always coming soon or still being worked on. Fans kept...

Doom 64 Officially Joins Doom Eternal Pre-Order Bonus

    The future is Doom'ed.

Even though this news already arrived earlier this month, I guess Bethesda wanted to make sure we all knew about it. In case you have not heard, Doom 64 is confirmed as a free pre-order bonus for Doom Eternal. Doom Eternal won't be out until March 20, 2020. Doom 64 also won't be out until March 20, 2020.

Previously, Doom 64 was announced only for the Switch, but it will be a free pre-order bonus for Doom Eternal pre-orders on the Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Going back to the Switch release, it won't be out...

Fallout 76: Wastelanders Pushed to 2020 but Private Worlds Launches Next Week

You're stuck with robots until early 2020.

The Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 was slated to arrive later this year. With it was promised the addition of actual human NPCs to the game, not just a bunch of robot looking robots. Sadly, Bethesda announced today that the Wastelanders update had to be pushed back until Q1 2020.

The studio says that they "need more time to be the best, most polished update it can be." They apologize for the delay but say that "it will be worth the extra time." They're also saying that this will...

First RAGE 2 Expansion 'Rise of the Ghosts' Launches September 26

A new expansion adds a new region, new enemy faction, new weapons, and more.

The Rise of the Ghosts expansion for RAGE 2 will be released across all platforms on September 19. You can pick it up for $15 (USD), or 1500 RAGE Coins from the in-game store. This expansion, as many expansions tend to do, includes a new area to explore, new enemies to fight, new weapons, and more.

The new faction is called the Ghosts. They're probably spooky but they're also said to be ruthless, vicious, tactical, and cruel. They're led by someone named Iris and they...

Bethesda Dropping Account Login Requirement for Original Doom Titles

It was, allegedly, never meant to be a requirement.

This past week, Bethesda pushed out the first three Doom titles for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Almost immediately it was discovered that players needed to login to a Bethesda.net account in order to play these games. It was made all the more curious when you realize that the first two Doom titles came out starting in 1993 and have no online multiplayer component.

Bethesda took note of the massive amount of disdain that came about from this very bizarre and wholly unnecessary...

  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood Release Trailer; Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot Also Releasing

Punching Nazis is more fun with a friend.

On Friday, or Thursday for those on PC, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be released. And when it does, you and a friend will get to punch, shoot, and *gasp* kill a bunch of Nazis together. It stands to reason that a release trailer would be out today just ahead of the impending release of the game. Youngblood starts at $29.99 (USD) and is coming for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you play as one of BJ Blazkowicz's two daughters, Jess and Soph. They are searching...

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Releasing a Day Early on PC

    Because... reasons?

If you are a console owner and want to play Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you will have to wait until the release rolls around on July 26. That's this Friday. If you are on PC, you apparently get the game a whole day earlier. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be released on the PC on Thursday, July 25.

Why? Who knows. That's just what the Bethesda Twitter account said, with the Wolfenstein Twitter account apparently backing the claim.

This seems to have come out of left field, especially when you consider that the Steam...

Xbox Game Pass Announced for PC

I guess technically it would be the 'PC Game Pass' then.

Microsoft announced a new Game Pass today. Unlike the current Xbox Game Pass, this one is tailored specifically for the PC owners out there. Microsoft says that they have designed a Game Pass experience that specifically meets the needs of PC gamers and PC game developers.

The Xbox Game Pass for PC, but it will give PC gamers access to a library of over 100 PC games on Windows 10. Some of the developers that are already on board with the Pass include Bethesda, Devolver Digital, SEGA, Deep...

Rage 2 Updated on Steam to Remove Denuvo DRM

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Bethesda announced that a new update was released today for the Steam version of Rage 2. This update, among other things, removes the always dreaded Denuvo DRM.

Denuvo was included at the launch of the game on Steam, but was curiously missing from the Bethesda.net Launcher version that came out at the same time. Fans were a bit curious (and upset) over this. The ongoing theory is that Denuvo was utilized on Steam to prevent Rage 2 from getting leaked early from those with access to the review build. Reviews of the...

Rage 2 Trailer Explains What Rage 2 Is

Bethesda claims that no mere "safe for work" words can possibly describe just what Rage 2 actually is. They are instead offering up an "explosive new trailer" to do the talking for them.

I haven't watched it yet myself, but I can only assume that the trailer is just swear word after swear word, plus a ton of explosions and violence. If nothing else, I'm sure the trailer has a lot of sick explosions and violence. I really can't see them releasing a trailer that's just wall to wall cussing, but you just never know!

    Rage...

Doom is the Theme for QuakeCon 2019

If you were to say that Quakecon 2019 is Doomed, you would be correct. Not only because that's the on point headline that Bethesda used in today's press release, but also because Quakecon 2019 is focusing on Doom! It's not even being called QuakeCon 2019, but is instead being called QuakeCon: Year of DOOM!

    DOOM! DOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Even with all this Doom, there's not a whole lot of gloom to be seen, unless you aren't able to get the registrations you wanted for the event. To ensure that doesn't happen, you'll want to visit the revamped Quakecon...

The NBA Jam Announcer in Rage 2 is No Joke

I fully admit that I was about to ignore this email today. I believed it to be nothing more than yet another April Fools' joke, but it's apparently super real.

Bethesda announced today that the legendary announcer from the NBA Jam games, Tim Kitzrow, will be a special narrator voice in Rage 2. They're calling this special pre-order bonus the "'He's on Fire' cheat code" though it's probably just an option you can toggle on and off instead of an actual cheat code. Though with this game, I wouldn't completely rule out the notion that you may...

  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood Set to Release on July 26, New Gameplay Trailer Released

Bethesda and Machine Games announced today that the first cooperative focused title in the Wolfenstein franchise now has a release date. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is slated to be released on July 26, 2019 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. The price on this will be $29.99 for the basic version.

This co-op focused title will take you and a friend back to 1980s Paris. You'll be playing as one of BJ Blazkowicz's twin daughters, Jess or Soph as you take down as many fascist loving Nazis as you can. In addition to a healthy dose...
