    Skull and Bones is Delayed Again

    Stop me if you've heard this one before.

    Ubisoft just announced that Skull and Bones has been delayed. Yes, again. Despite recently receiving an ESRB rating and despite a recent release date announcement, the game has been pushed back into 2023.

    The firm* release date is now March 9, 2023. The reason given is the usual statement about how the team is hard at work polishing and balancing the game ahead of launch and wouldn't you know it? They just need some more time....

    Assassin's Creed Mirage Officially Announced

    The announcement comes shortly after a leak made the rounds online.

    Splinter Cell just cannot catch a break.

    Ubisoft is removing access to a full, single-player game even if you own it.

    Update as of July 11, 2022 at 1:36PM (ET): Ubisoft has clarified that "current owners of [decommissioned games] will still be able to access, play, or redownload them." This includes Assassin's Creed Liberation HD.

    Ubisoft failed to reach their financial targets.

    Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot will voluntarily take a $327,000 (USD) pay cut for the upcoming year. Ubisoft says that this "is a personal decision" by Guillemot and was done voluntarily as Ubisoft "had not reached the financial targets that it had publicly communicated to the markets."
