Ion Maiden Renamed to Ion Fury for Probably Obvious Reasons

Classic 90s FPS has a new name.

Ion Maiden billed itself as an "old-school FPS" similar in style to the classic games from the 90s. It entered into Early Access a little while back and it plans to exit Early Access on Thursday, August 15. On that date, the game will toss round after round on the PC, with console releases on the Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One coming later.

The game is being developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment. Only, there's just one problem. It won't be called Ion Maiden. As you can probably guess, a band...

Introducing Steam Labs - A Place to Test New Steam Features

    Launching today with three experiments.

Valve has just launched a new area on Steam where users can test out new, experimental features for Steam. They're calling this area the Steam Labs and it is here where users will be able to test out potential new Steam features. These tests may one day become commonplace on Steam, but for now they are mere experiments ripe for testing and potential changes based on user feedback.

If you ever used Gmail, you may already know what to expect from these Labs experiments. That is to say, there is no guarantee that they will be fully...

New Turok Game is Looking Mighty Cute

A new game based off of the original Turok comics from 1954.

A new Turok game is coming to Steam on July 25. It's called Turok: Escape from Lost Valley and you may have noticed that it looks quite a bit different than what you're used to. The previous Turok games were all first-person shooter games. This one is, well, not.

Turok: Escape from Lost Valley tells the story of Turok and his brother, Andar, being trapped in an area full of dinosaurs. Hunting still happens, but this time it all goes down in an isometric view, providing a bird's eye view of the adorable art...

    Alter Fate in SolSeraph

Out today on consoles and Steam.

Humans are about to be wiped out thanks to some Younger Gods that are being real jerks. Chaos spreads across the lands. That sucks. Thankfully, humanity has a savior by the way of Helios, a Knight of Dawn, that is trying to bring back civilization from being destroyed.

All of this is done through a mix of side-scrolling action and top-down strategy gameplay. Players will work to guide a group to expand their territory and dispel a "dark fog" that surrounds them. In doing so, you will expose some monsters that you then take on...

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle Out Now

Upgrade to Final Battle at a reduced cost.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Koei Tecmo America launched the latest entry in the popular action game that is inspired by the anime of the same name.

To be a bit more specific, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle retells the events of the show's third season story. There is apparently going to be a fourth season for the show, which begs the question then if there will be another game to coincide with it. Maybe call it Attack on Titan 3: Final...

Digimon Cyber Sleuth Package Coming to PC

Should have called it Detective Digimon.

Did you know that Digimon are digital monsters? Did you know that Digimon are the champions? It's true, the late 90s told me and I believe the 90s. Apparently, Digimon are also experts when it comes to being detectives of a sort. That's probably why they are the star of a new game that is full of mysteries and apparently turn-based battles.

The game is called Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition and it offers up a combination of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory. It's all included...

  • Epic Promises to Cover Shenmue 3 Refunds for Problem They Created in the First Place

Then quickly announces this will happen again.

If you've been following the Shenmue 3 development saga for any length of time, you are probably well aware of a few things. First, you are probably well aware that the game pulled in over $6.3 million on Kickstarter alone. After the Kickstarter run ended, it used another service to keep collecting from fans that wanted to help fund the game. The total amount pledged rose to almost $7.2 million. Deep Silver was then selected as the game's publisher. However, it is not clear how much, if anything, they contributed as a publisher towards...
