  • Let's Play Nether #8 - Long Walk, Short Pier

In this final (at least for now) episode of Nether: We take a trip to the beach for some fun in the post-apocalyptic Sun!

I'm joined by just one other for this episode: Links (needs swimming lessons)

Nether is available on Steam Early Access starting at $19.99 (USD).

I just wanted to thank the (very few) people that actually bothered to watch any or all of these videos. I've been trying to see if a more regular release schedule for content would help views but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Perhaps I should start screaming and yelling more for future videos. I really don't know what else to change.

I watched quite a few of them as im fairly curious about the game. I was trying to see if it would fill the void that the lack of Fallout games has left me with.

I was curious about the game too but after the first video I just got hooked. It was fun to see the progression, from someome who doesn't know the game( i didn't too) to someone who is fairly armed and survival-fit. It was also good the way you edited it, by leaving the more interesting parts of your gameplay and cutting out the boring ones, but still maintaining a "story line" or connection between the cuts and episodes. Then you managed to have some well lenghted episodes that didn't get boring and left me in the end wanting to see the next.
Though I guess in these last ones you just kind of already did everything you could in the world.

I do really enjoy the ambience in the game, the graphics the sounds... But I think the items should either spawn more frequently or should be more scattered around the city. I also think it would be good for them to add specific zone monsters, besides the normal ones they already have scattered around. Like a sort of monster that only appears on the beach, one that only appears on the subways, one that only appears on the park. each with it' own look and habilities kind of adapted to where he lives.
