A small meet and greet was scheduled to take place at a small coffee shop in San Francisco next week. The meetup would take place near the Game Developers Conference...

Nvidia DLSS is Coming to Rust

Get ready for a performance bump on supported cards.

Nvidia is about to roll out DLSS support to Rust on July 1. This tech, otherwise known as Deep Learning Super Sampling, essentially provides some nice performance gains in games that support it. Of course, you also need the hardware that supports it as well, which means you need either a 20xx series or 30xx series card from Nvidia.

The addition of DLSS support to Rust comes just a few months after the game added in Nvidia...

    Confirmed today by developer Facepunch.

Rust developer Facepunch Studios confirmed today that a large chunk of players in the EU have lost their save data after a fire broke out through the OVH data center in Strasbourg, France.

Rust is Killing Linux Support; Devs Offer Refunds

Rust became a "cheater's sanctuary" on Linux.

On August 9, Rust developer Garry Newman wrote a blog talking about potential plans for the long neglected Linux client for their open-world survival game. In the blog, Newman talks about how he and the team could have done more to support the client, even if he says their support "might have been above average."

He goes on to say that the Linux version had "become more popular with the cheating community."...

Prepare for Fallout 76 to Not Be the Fallout You Want

Earlier today, Bethesda finally stopped their night of teasing and indeed provided a reveal for a new Fallout game!

Today, Bethesda announced Fallout 76. They released no information about the game in the slightest. All they officially provided to the world is an announcement trailer and some screen grabs from the trailer. You can see those all at the bottom. It looks like the trailer was intentionally vague. That is perhaps for good reason because sources have told Kotaku...

Some of the best PC multiplayer games to date

Sometimes good multiplayer games can be hard to come by, often it’s not the game that shines, but the players.

So what are the best multiplayer PC games?

Team Fortess 2 is an enduring classic. It’s a completely different from what it was in 2007 and has undergone a rough and bumpy transition. The rich visual design, the utmost strength of its cast, and the interplay between classes, place it in the highest degree of online gaming.

  • Rust is Still in Development Despite One Guy at Facepunch Working on a Prototype Game

Gaming communities can be full of idiots. I'm not going to sugar coat that fact. The latest to suffer from such a community is Facepunch Studios. Recently, one of the employees, Adam Woolridge, revealed a prototype game, Riftlight, that he alone is working on. Suddenly, the Rust community loses their collective minds and begin to pick up pitchforks against Facepunch for not delivering a finished product in Rust. They are upset that Rust development is somehow taking a back seat n...
