    Final Review: We Happy Few

    A fleeting Joy.
The other week, I put up a review in progress for We Happy Few. For the sake of simplicity, I left that intact below this "final" review section up top here. So, how did We Happy Few fare given the extra time I spent with it? Not well. Not well at all. As the hours continued on, the love affair I had with the game started to chip away. At first it was just a minor annoyance when I would run into issues like poor A.I., but it became harder and harder to ignore. There are only so many times where you could just write off seeing an NPC...

The Sojourn Introduces Its Puzzle Filled World with this Announcement Trailer

Iceberg Interactive Indie dev Shifting Tides revealed The Sojourn this week. The Sojourn is an upcoming first-person puzzle game where you "traverse parallel worlds of light and darkness in search of answers to the nature of reality."

Whew, that's some heavy sounding stuff right there. Maybe it's not as heavy as that initial line makes it out to be.
You are born into a beautiful, pure land, but everything is not as it seems. Darkness seeps through every crevice and forms the foundation of the world you live in. Open your eyes to the shadows of

    Review: The Station (PC)

    Space walk with me.

From start to its somewhat expected finish, The Station had its hooks in me something fierce. Let it be known right now that I love a great story driven experience and The Station delivered in spades. Though a bit shorter than I would have liked, I was fully immersed for every single second of it. Let's not beat around the bush here: The Station is what some may call a "walking simulator" or even a "story-driven experience." Whatever you call it, I call it a fun and thoroughly enjoyable time. The story is delivered through a s...

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Latest Monthly Update Adds First-Person Mode

The fourth and latest monthly update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has finally arrived. Delayed by a week due to a technical issue this is technically the July monthly update for the game. It's also the update that officially introduces first-person mode to the game. This update also introduces new cosmetic items into two "free" crates and additional items into one paid crate (you need to purchase a key to unlock it).

Perhaps more importantly, this is the update that adds car horns to the game! BEEP BEEP!

    Review: The Turing Test

    It really makes you think.
Bulkhead Interactive has brought the world The Turing Test, a new entry in the every growing first-person puzzle genre. In its simplest terms, the game finds you going from room to room solving a series of puzzles that get progressively harder the deeper in to the game you go. You manipulate what can best be described as portable batteries to charge up objects like doors, industrial sized electromagnets, and more all in an effort to progress to the next room. All of this takes place on a base located on Jupiter's moon, Europa,...
