Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Release Date Set for September 1

Looks like IGN leaked the big Metal Gear Solid V reveal about a day ahead of time. Bad news for them, but good news for us because it has now been revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will have a worldwide release on September 1, 2015.

That image came from a video that has since been pulled from IGN. Unless there is something more that will be revealed tomorrow, it looks like the cat is out of the bag. It's amazing that the release date has been kept secret this entire time and IGN managed to screw it up just one day before it was officially going to be announced.

  Steam version releases September 15th, very suprised it's coming so close behind the main release.
